Worst ever customer experience

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very flexible and intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had the worst customer care and experience of my 15 year career. I liked the look of the platform, so I wanted to pay for 1 month on the lowest tier to give it a shot. I selected that, but at point of purchase something clearly went wrong. I was charged 75£ and put on some kind of legacy package which wasn’t explained to me. Not only was I charged this large amount, I was still unable to use most of the features I wanted to try because I was stuck behind a paywall, even despite the large payment.
I reached out to the support team who said there was nothing they could do because of Asana policy. I feel like I was conned or misguided into purchasing something I didn’t need, and barely even works. The best they could offer was two months free. - something that is useless to me given that I will definitely never be using Asana after the experience I’ve had so far.
I accepted the two free months because, why not? But then two weeks later, I was charged another £30! I reached out to the support team and they said they couldn’t do anything about that either.
I feel like I have been robbed and I’m genuinely considering starting a legal process. Not because I’m furious, which I am, but because this sort of practice is practically theft.
I enjoyed the product for the 1 day I was using it, but the rest has been diabolical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None right now. But it would’ve been collaboration with external teams.

Smooth Onboarding, Powerful Results

  • September 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform makes it so easy to stay organized and aligned. I love how intuitive it feels—everything from creating projects to assigning tasks flows naturally. It’s clear, collaborative, and keeps everyone focused on what matters most without adding extra work. The onboarding for Asana for Impact was especially great: simple, engaging, and relevant. After just 30 minutes, I had my first project set up and felt confident moving forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a bit of a learning curve at the very beginning because there are so many features, but once you understand the layout, it all clicks. Honestly, I appreciate how much depth is available—it just takes a little exploration to make it your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep projects organized, clear, and moving forward. Instead of scattered notes, emails, or endless to-do lists, everything now has a place, a timeline, and an owner. The biggest benefits for me are:

Clarity: I can see exactly what needs to be done, by when, and by whom.

Collaboration: It’s easy to loop in colleagues and track progress without things getting lost in the shuffle.

Confidence: After only one onboarding session, I felt comfortable setting up my first project and confident moving ahead on my own.

This structure not only saves time but also reduces stress, letting me focus on the work itself instead of trying to manage the work.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers a wide range of training sessions for teams, which is definitely helpful for aligning your team with company goals. Additionally, once you fully understand the breadth of features it provides, it enables a smooth and efficient workflow. Their customer support is also unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, however, the team makes it easy to obtain training to overcome this.

Pooling all company work into one dashboard

Truly a game changer

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I introduced Asana to our organization about 3 months ago and in that short time I've seen strong adoption from others within our organization as well as notable increases in productivity and collaboration.
I have tried a lot of project management and collaborative work management tools in my career - Asana is by far the best.
Asana features the most capabilities and features to help get work done without having to come in and out of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish that I had found Asana sooner :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana breaks down silos and provides a platform for everyone to share work and updates very efficiently - holding everyone accountable to what they must do and when they must do it.

Asana has been a great software for remote project management.

  • September 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate, simple to collaborate. My team has been using it continuously to create blogs and for efficient marketing.
I love the kanban boards feature and the different views for the projects- i also believe it helps a lot with productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a bit better on the UI. I also do not remember them having a ramp up: it was direct onto the software and i had to youtube to understand it. A better SAAS flow ramp would have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use asana mainly for project collaboration when it comes to writing blogs. i could not imagine creating these blogs remotely and collborating with my team without this. The app is also handy and I can check whenever there is an update on here.

All in One Organization

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool to get teams organized. It is flexible and has lots of configuration options that mean whatever your team's workflow, it can handle it. I was only introduce to Asana about 4 weeks ago and I already feel very confident using it. Great training and onboarding videos were helpful! It was easy to implement with new users and customer support on doing that was pretty helpful. We also easily integrated it with our other systems. We use it frequently, multiple times per day and it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features that are missing, like being able to customize emails that are returned to guests. These are frustrating especially since everything else is so easy. I also get frustrated when it is hard to find an answer via the Chat AI helper. I usually just go to Google and find it out that way vs. the Asana resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us with requests coming in and making sure our stakeholders know where they are in the process.

Great for Customisation + Complex Systems + Automations / But not a quick fix

  • September 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are many different features, automations and ways to "make it our own".
If you want to set up a system for a large company or a complex working environment - Asana will likely have the features you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
With customisation and many features comes complexity - it takes quite a bit of time to get familiar with the software. I wish there were more blueprints for multi-departmental projects and best practice suggestions.
At the moment, you have to hack it yourself based on the available training, hope you're setting it up right and iterate as you go.

Also - if you want certain features, you have to be willing to pay higher prices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my team to record tasks, projects and also create an annual overview of our priorities.

I love Asana

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me stay organized in the daily, while also achieve my long-term goals. I like how it's super pretty to look at, and it's in every detail! The different features that it has are endless and they are just what I need!!! Our organization has become much more efficient with Asana. They also provide live trainings which are really helpful and definately a plus on the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Asana. I do think there is area for improvement, but I know they are continuously working on improving the software. For example, one thing I can think of, is being able to edit the formatting of the emails that are sent out via integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scattered information all over the place, Asana solves by unifying.
Copmany disorganization, Asana solves by making everything irganized, and having nice visibility into what are each tasks a part of. Being able to see the whole.
It also solves my individual problem of having a to-do list scattered everywhere, now I am much more efficient, by using the My Tasks section.

A reliable tool for managing projects and team collaboration

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it very easy to keep track of tasks and deadlines. The interface is clean and user friendly, so assigning tasks and monitoring progress is smooth. I like that it integrates well with tools like Slack and Google Drive, which saves time. The timeline and Gantt chart features are very useful for project managers, they help in visualising the entire workflow clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using Asana, there was no clear introduction or walkthrough about how to use it or how to toggle between different projects, which made the learning curve a bit tricky. It does get simpler with time, but some onboarding guidance would really help new users. Another thing that bothers me is the notifications—when someone comments on ongoing projects, I get alerts on the app (which is fine), but I also get duplicate notifications in Gmail, which feels unnecessary and a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage multiple projects at once without losing track of deadlines. It reduces confusion in communication and ensures that everyone knows their responsibilities. The Gantt charts and task assignments give me a clear picture of the project flow, and overall it saves time, improves accountability, and makes teamwork more efficient.
