Asana is not just a software!
What do you like best about the product?
The friendly customer service team and live trainings help guide and tailor Asana to your team's individual needs. It is easy to implement into your workflow and cuts down on busywork. I highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Asana was the standardized dark mode but that is easy to fix in settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and ease of workflow
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is its intuitive design and how seamlessly it keeps my team aligned. The visual project boards and timeline features make it easy to break down complex tasks, assign ownership, and spot bottlenecks early. Asana’s flexibility supports everything from sprint planning to content tracking - without overwhelming the user. Plus, integrations with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Salesforce make collaboration effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana offers powerful project tracking, one area I find challenging is the complexity that emerges with larger teams and projects. As task lists grow, the interface can feel a bit cluttered, making it harder to maintain clarity across dependencies and deadlines. Customization options—though helpful - sometimes require too many clicks to reach or configure. It also feels like certain permissions settings or reporting tools could be more intuitive, especially when managing cross-functional collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps eliminate the confusion and inefficiency that often come with managing projects across multiple teams and tools. Before using Asana, keeping track of priorities, assignments, and timelines felt chaotic - especially when working remotely or across departments. Now, Asana centralizes everything into one intuitive platform. I can see who's working on what, when things are due, and how tasks connect—without resorting to endless email threads or status meetings.

Reliable, versatile and continuously improving
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Asana for over 5 years now as a PMP, with a short break in between on a team that uses Monday. I'll never go back to another tool again if I can help it. Just in the past year, most of the few pain points I had with Asana have been resolved and I'm pretty sure the pricing structure has become more favorable for start ups and nonprofits that I work with. As simple as it sounds, multihoming and customization of My Tasks are two of the biggest features that contribute to org wide adoption/buy-in in my experience. Hands down the best tool for task management with plenty of templates to serve most use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been able to achieve skipping weekends with AI studio rules, but would appreciate if it was just native (outside of project templates and dependencies). I find that Asana is slowly catching up to Flowsana, but it would be nice to not need the integration at an added cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structure the right way, Asana can be used to track progress from the project/ops workflow level scaffolded all the way up to org level strategic initiatives. This eliminates outside reporting and ensures visibility/accountability across all work.
Amazing All-In-One Workflow Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive software that has powerful features to coordinate, manage, and empower workflows with ease. After some setup, the requests flow with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any software, features can take a minute to become expert in and configure. More advanced workflows takes some time to learn the power of the platform and then put it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routing tasks and approvals to the right team members automatically as work moves through its various phases.

Great product with minor gaps
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful, intuitive, and constantly evolving project management platform. It’s easy to use, well-organized, and helps keep our team aligned and on track. The ability to customize workflows, set priorities, and visualize progress across projects makes a huge difference. The regular feature updates show they’re listening to user feedback and actively improving the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few minor things I’d like to see improved or added, but nothing that impacts our day-to-day use. The bigger concerns are around support — response times can be slow, and the recent move to third-party client service has made account management feel less personal. Also, pricing is on the higher side, which could be a barrier for growing teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us manage complex projects, track progress, and stay aligned across multiple teams and departments. Before Asana, tasks and deadlines were scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and chat threads — making it easy for things to fall through the cracks.
Now, everything is centralized and clearly structured. We can assign ownership, set deadlines, track status updates, and keep everyone on the same page. It’s significantly improved our workflow, visibility, and accountability — especially as our team has grown and become more cross-functional.
