Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's UI over other project management tools and the flexibility it offers for using across processes, such as project tasks and tracking, weekly meeting agendas, tasks, and next steps, as well as big picture items. I like that it allows for collaboration and transparency among team members. The integration with Teams and Outlook is also helpful. I enjoy the animations when tasks are completed, and I like the way that different projects can be sectioned. I like that tasks have descriptions and people can add comments and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that tasks can't be assigned to more than one person - some tasks are collaboration tasks, but adding collaborators is not the same level of accountability as "assignees". I also wish there was a better way to display subtasks rather than having to click on the task and go into details. I also wish it was easy to upload xlsx files and extract data from them to Asana projects. When I have done them, the upload has not been seemless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping with making our work more collaborative and increasing transparency and accountability in tasks. I also want it to be a tool that helps manage smaller as well as larger tasks. It is lowering noise from emails and helping consolidate workflows from using multiple spreadsheets or word documents to an integrated tool, hence improving efficiency.

Overwhelming Features: For smaller teams or simpler projects, the extensive features may feel overwhelming and unnecessary, leading to potential confusion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of Visibility: One of the primary issues in team collaboration is the lack of visibility into ongoing tasks and project statuses. Asana provides a clear overview of all projects, tasks, and deadlines, allowing team members to see what everyone is working on at a glance.
Task Overload and Bandwidth Management: Teams often struggle with understanding their workload and bandwidth. Asana helps in visualizing task assignments and deadlines, making it easier to identify who is overloaded and who has capacity. This ensures a more balanced distribution of work.
Communication Gaps: Asana reduces the need for constant back-and-forth emails by centralizing communication around tasks. Team members can comment directly on tasks, share updates, and ask questions, which streamlines communication and keeps everyone informed.

Best tool for a remote company
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this software is not one, or two. I can create tasks, set their dates, routines, collaborate with my teammates, see their tasks, private my tasks, and so much more. It has AI features as well. It keeps you productive with its reporting feature. Its very easy to use. I literally learnt it within 2 days. Our team use this app daily. We have integrated it with slack and i can create tasks right from Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its expensive. The pricing plan of dollars per seat make it expensive for a startup or a small organisation. Also, the feature are limited in the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a remote team of 10-15 members. We use Asana for our tasks management, content calender, project management and so much more. Its literally our most useful app right now. Everyone in our team uses asana daily. Its solving the problem of tasks management, and project management.
Great PM tool - iffy Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
As an solopreneur, Asana was a great tool, and fit my needs exactly. As I've begun to implement it in an entreprise capacity, it has become more difficult, and we've run into blocker after blocker with customer service. The tool itself is still wonderful, but setup and administration leave a lot to be desired, especially the domain restrictions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domain limitations, especially if your organization used multiple domains, plus system administration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Asana for project management and goal tracking.
Great for keeping up to date with team tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of columns and different layout options are really helpful. Each IC understands / organizes tasks a different way and this is great. Its quite easy to use and has a great UX, intuatively, easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that subtasks were easier to add, rather than 3 clicks (click on main task, click on open, add subtask) and that these subtasks were shown on the main task page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For all contributors to understand / execute on tasks and easily understand deadlines, time estimates and collaborators. It gives autonomy to IC and reduces management work

Certain features that aren't available to my plan
