Easy to Use, Preferred Over Jira but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use that Asana offers, making it simple to set up boards and manage projects. I really appreciate the ability to switch between swimlanes and timelines, which suits various project needs. The integration with Miro is incredibly valuable, allowing seamless movement between mapping and creating projects. Additionally, Asana provides me a snapshot of my team's capacity and workload, helping me understand their daily tasks and deadlines. Compared to Jira, Asana's streamlined project management strongly appeals to me as a designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the pricing model of Asana too expensive for my company's current needs. Additionally, I wish Asana could integrate with our proprietary meeting management tool to avoid redundancy in adding team tasks to both platforms.

Asana Has Streamlined My Day to Day Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana as it is a great tool to use for collaboration. As a nonprofit marketing professional at a mid-sized school, it helps us coordinate projects between many different departments. I use it daily and couldn't live without it. It was easy to implement and integrate into our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to starting up with the software, but once you get the hang of it Asana becomes second nature.

It is helping us complete projects on budget and on time through the scheduling function. Sub tasks help keep us focused and on task. The calendar funciton helps us prevent double booking publication dates for promotions with other departments. It's a project management super tool.

An enthusiastic endorsement of Asana from a project manager.
What do you like best about the product?
I've found Asana to be an invaluable tool for our team. It has completely transformed the way we manage project workflows and track progress. The platform's intuitive interface makes it easy for everyone—from project leads to team members—to collaborate seamlessly. We now have a single, transparent source of truth for all our projects, which has drastically reduced miscommunication and missed deadlines. The ability to customize views, automate routine tasks, and generate insightful reports has significantly boosted our efficiency and accountability. Asana has become a cornerstone of our project operations, helping us deliver high-quality results to our clients more reliably than ever before. It's a must-have for any team serious about improving their project management processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a real-time, in-app support assistant to navigate the sometimes overwhelming platform especially for new users. Also, while the app is highly adaptable, it's not possible to add completely new, custom features not already available, which can be a small limitation for teams with highly unique operational needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana centralizes communication, tasks, and progress, which benefits the team by drastically reducing miscommunication and preventing missed deadlines. Also, by having everything in one place, it's easy for the manager and the team to see who is responsible for what. This transparency ensures that team members are held accountable for their work, leading to more reliable, high-quality results for clients.
Asana is the way to go

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a manager, there is a real need to manage tasks and workflow of my team. Asana has been there to the rescue. I love the way it helps organize the tasks and streamline workflows.
Love it, but wish it had a few updates
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana every day at work, and it keeps me knowing what is my priority and what I can move ahead (using the milestones feature). What I like best about Asana is how seamlessly it helps me organize and visualize projects from start to finish. The timeline view makes it easy to see the big picture and track progress at a glance, while templates save time and ensure consistency across recurring projects. I also really appreciate the ability to set dependencies, which keeps tasks flowing in the right order and helps avoid bottlenecks. Altogether, these features make managing complex projects feel clear, structured, and far less overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback I’ve found with Asana is how clunky the project and portfolio invitations are—it’s all manual, which can be frustrating and time-consuming for larger teams. I also don’t like that when you delete projects, they can leave behind orphaned tasks and assignments that linger instead of fully clearing out. Finally, I wish there were an easier way to shift deadlines in bulk (for example, moving everything ahead by six days), since adjusting timelines one task at a time is inefficient for dynamic projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of keeping projects organized and transparent across our marketing team. Instead of relying on scattered email threads, we can track tasks, timelines, and responsibilities all in one place, which reduces miscommunication and keeps us on schedule. It’s especially valuable for coordinating multiple moving parts at once, since dependencies and timelines make it clear what needs to happen next. While I wish there were broader adoption across the whole company, for our marketing team it’s already been a huge benefit in keeping projects streamlined and cutting down on unnecessary emails.
Easy to use, transparency

Good project management tool, integration with Everhour easy, user management very simple, intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations of the dashboards and details in the used license
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completed tasks should no longer be able to be assigned times by the team.
Asana is how our team collaborates
What do you like best about the product?
Our team can track all work in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve to understanding that tasks can be located in more than one project and drilling down and through projects to find information in multiple ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company that is growing. Asana allows our distributed team to collaborate in meaningful ways.
