CleverTap works great but my onboarding process did not explain its implementation complexity
What do you like best about the product?
I like best how easy it is to see segments of users and recent activity, but also see profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the need to have all our events sent client-side in order to have the best profiles in the CleverTap system, and how the complexities of profile creation and merging were not explained in my onboarding and only came to light over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up re-engagement campaigns quickly and easily via email, push, and text without engineering effort - we have realized this benefit quite well and are happy we chose CleverTap.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before you decide to implement, if you are looking to integrate Segment with CleverTap, make sure your Segment event infrastructure is set up properly and logically. It will be more difficult to use CleverTap if this is not the case; it is not CleverTap's fault, just the fact that you will rely on Segment event labeling.

Clevertap makes a difference
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Clevertap enables me to reach users from the start of the funnel through registration and then engagement and retention.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, there are no downsides to using Clevertap. Even when our campaigns or journeys are not a success we have learned something about our users and can make the necessary adjustments. The one challenge is while learning how to use Clevertap you need to understand the thought process of the development team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Successfully moving people through registration. Bringing back users who have not used the app in a while. New user on-boarding. Rewarding users for engagement.

The strong segmentation of users through RFM and IBS tools and the ability to engage with them

Limited flexibility in creating graphs to track performance on a daily or weekly basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are driving engagement and retention through the notifications platform and the segmentation tools. We have grown 10x over the last 10 months and CleverTap had an important role to play in this.
Best tool for detailed user analysis & to target them
What do you like best about the product?
Best part of Clevertap is user analysis. We've used other tool as well but never found in-depth analysis in such simply manner. Also its easy to target particular segment users through that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mulitple profile management could get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem was retention & first time conversion. Clevertap helped us understanding such user behaviour with the app and target them through segmentation.
Clever Tap: very advance marketing platform
What do you like best about the product?
We use CleverTap on a day to day basis. Almost all our engagement campaigns are sent using CleverTap. Their customer service team is by far the best I have worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the product is very user friendly and with help from customer success, we’re able to solve for most of our use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CleverTap support is also a great resource and they will take the time and energy to help you set up the account.We use CleverTap primarily used for mobile app analytics and engagement optimisation. It has been a great tool to understand user behaviour for new features and make changes to the app accordingly.

What do you like best about the product?
CleverTap is a journey for Mobile Marketing and analytics data obtained from that branch. The feature that is my favorite—despite having many—is the ability to analyze data and detect anomalies in funnels, which allows for adjustments to each product to stay on the desired path and project expected goals. Additionally, it is capable of processing long-term data associated with each product for which it is used. Therefore, it allows for the constant implementation of updates adjusted to a market that changes very quickly. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process is a bit tedious and cumbersome, since it is not a tool to be used by any type of user with basic levels of technological knowledge. An induction and/or training would be necessary to take advantage of each function properly. Likewise, untimely alerts can be a problem for fixing general errors in each product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefit that this incredible tool brought to our company was providing important data on tracking our users' behavior, which allowed us to adapt to new trends and visualize as well as project ourselves into the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The only recommendation I can offer is to invest in training or train a master user in order to properly customize CleverTap to do exactly what each company needs according to its objectives and the reason why it invested in this tool.
Of the best to lead Mobile Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best Mobile marketing tools I have used in a long period of time. The feature we use the most in my company and the most outstanding one, I believe, is the ability to launch campaigns solely based on the analysis derived from the online and offline data processing of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
When heavy data and large files are used, the processing of flowcharts can be a bit slow and tedious, causing the processes to be delayed a little. In my opinion, it is not something to discard this tool for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool to monitor data from users who access our campaigns and launch them according to the analyses obtained from the registration and order of said data. The program makes it relatively easy and, once fully implemented, it is quite easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My biggest recommendation would be to consider implementing this product and investing a little in training to take advantage of each of its features and the ability to customize it, both according to the situation and the reading of analytics as well as the already established trade schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Clevertap is comprehensive in its offering both as an analytics solution and customer engagement. So all stake holders right from product / engineering / marketing to leadership end up being users of Clevertap.
What do you dislike about the product?
To harness the true capabilities of the product - Clevertap requires marketing and tech to partner and work together for a proper implementation. So it isn't exactly a trivial project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking to reduce customer drop-offs at key on-boarding points with Clevertap. We can see this can be largely automated using Clevertap. For our product team Clevertap opens up a lot of insights on how users are using our product and where the drop-offs are happening.
We also like to reach out to our global customers with different messaging for different countries. That is easy with Clevertap. We also have the ability to target users depending on their status with us. So different customers get different messaging depending on where they are in their usage of our product.
Our users end up being from both web and mobile app, so having a combined profile and view of what these users are doing is very helpful to us. Clevertap does that well.

What do you like best about the product?
The Smart Campaigns feature is awesome. With that feature, you can just set up push campaigns once and forget about sending push messages to new users, the platform will do it for you. You can set triggers, so once a user does something specific, he will receive an automated message.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only "but" we found on Clevertap is that their dashboard is only available in English. They should add more languages like Spanish, Italian and French at least.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of the huge volume of apps and users that Mobincube has, it used to be imposible to take care of sending customized push messages to all of them in order to keep a good level of loyalty. With Clevertap and its smart campaigns, we just need to configure those campaigns once and then new users will start receiving messages as a reaction of their actions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should definitely give Clevertap a try. It will make your life easier. Even if you think at first that the pricing is high, you will realize that it is much cheaper than having one or two full time employees doing all the work.

CleverTap's support makes me love this tool because every question I have, I can reach out to them and their responsiveness if perfect: fast and very explanatory and educative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes using the tool itself could be a little challenging since I don't have any technical background.

Reaching out to users in a very timely manner.
