An all-you-need analytics suite for growing startups
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is I haven't needed to look at any other analytics tool since we brought in Clevertap. Except for measuring session time which is overall becoming difficult & attribution analytics, Clevertap has literally everything under the sun & it is definitely the most robust tool we have used in the last 3 years. We use it for Funnels, Cohorts, Trends, and the Dashboard is definitely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
They should bring in advanced features like- email reports for dashboards & anomaly alerts. Also, not every analytics output can be pinned to the dashboard. If the support was on-call more than it is on email, it would have helped us better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Clevertap to study user behavior, trends and understand different cohorts and funnels which help us better the product. We intend to soon use this for cross-platform analytics (web & native android).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Event nomenclature is something that seems unimportant, but if you're gonna have folks from different verticals use analytics, pay very close attention to this & you'll be sailing happily.

Marketing Automation at its best
What do you like best about the product?
We love Event Design capability the best. It helps us bucket events according to business processes easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not had any major issues. For any minor issues that we have raised concerns the response is very quick and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple interactions on our app screen at a time, all of which are well captured and segmented with CleverTap.
CleverTap Review- A tool that suits the needs of every scale
What do you like best about the product?
CleverTap’s RFM feature has been helping us a lot to automatically segment users based on their actions in the app. I’ve been using this for a lot of our customers for analytics. I’ve used funnels, flows and pivots widely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data collection and updates could be faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s important for us to ensure that the content sent to each user is cut out to his or her needs. CleverTap provides us with valuable insights on all users.
Best tool for push notifications
What do you like best about the product?
For all our customers, we’d set up their engagement and marketing campaigns to go out through CleverTap. My most used feature would be A/B testing in push notifications. It is easy to use and the learning curve is not at all steep.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. Though there’s always scope for improvement!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CleverTap helped us understand user behaviour through steps through funnels and then segmenting these users. We’ve been able to run targeted messaging to these specific users. For a lot of customers, we’ve improved CTRs drastically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommended CleverTap to all those looking to retain their users for the long term.

user funnel is a bit complicated and not very intuitive and the lack of edit functionality after publish is a bit frustrating.

We are getting new features by the month, while implementation keeps very easy.
Best tool for Mobile and Web Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
For us the overall experience with CleverTap was excellent. Their customer support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that i can think if. All sectors are handled well by their customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main challenges for us was getting an accurate way of measuring retention. CleverTap did a very good job for us. We use cohorts to measure daily, weekly, monthly retention. We also look at RFM transitions to see how users have moved between stages, it helps us communicate better.

What's better than saving cost on a headcount for a Data Analyst in the CRM team when you can tap on CleverTap's extensive analytical capabilities?

There is a learning curve that will take a while, and you may have tons of questions during the first few months. But once you're past that it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the need to continuously activate our users, and keep them engaged/delighted with our app through timely notifications.
A great benefit from this product is also the ability to segment users very easily. Plus, from any parts of your analyses, you can immediately send a campaign.

Get on the trial period and explore the analytical capabilities. If the ability to analyse your segments and users based on your "critical events" is highly necessary, CleverTap is the solution for you.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure, easy to segment. You have a user friendly platform. I like that have a lot of features, but are not complicated to use. I like that Clevertap is always implementing new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that the platform is not always reliable and some messages for some reason does not appear to all users. This is happening less often lately. I did not like that the journeys were so hard to implement, at the end we did not implemented because support could not help us enough to do it. Kind of sad that most of new features are for entreprise paying users and as a small startup we can not access this features.

CleverTap is a customer lifecycle management and engagement platform that gathers data on any platform for behavioural analysis of the users. Some of the points that I'd like to highlight:

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The feature called 'Journey' can't be edited once you set it up and go live. If you want to make changes then you have to clone it and make changes and pause the previous one. It can be a time consuming process if the journey is a little complicated.

We provide whitelabled apps for multiple brands along with web apps. It becomes crucial for us to track user behaviour across all apps and see how users are interacting with our products. We get actionable insights by using funnels and steps where we can improve the UX. We have made multiple iterations of the product based on the data we get from the Clevertap.
