What do you like best about the product?
The platform and dashboard is very feature rich and CleverTap continues to make product updates every quarter including ones that we have requested.
The Customer Success Team is very responsive and the CleverTap leadership team is very customer oriented. They listen to our needs and are very amenable to the support we need.

What do you dislike about the product?
No qualms or dislikes at this time. CleverTap has been a very strong strategic partner to StatementGames from the very beginning of our relationship.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With their help, StatementGames has been able to develop and launch a very strong omni-channel 360 marketing platform that not only keeps our subscribers engaged but allows us to develop a journey and relationship with our subscribers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get intimate with their product set through demos and discussions and really compare them with the other alternatives you are reviewing. Ask a lot of questions to the Sales Account and Customer Success Teams about their products, services, Methods and Procedures, Product Roadmap, and support processes. Take a look at their customer lists and ask them for information about how they have successfully used the products, use cases, and information that they are allowed to share.
Don't be afraid to ask them how they differentiate themselves from their competitors and what they have in the near term and future term product roadmap. And get familiar with their integration process (APIs and SDKs) prior to making a final decision.

Fantastic tool and responsive customer support
What do you like best about the product?
We previously lacked any ability to automate user communication. What has been most valuable with Clevertap is the ability to trigger specific communications based on user actions in the app and watch the data roll in. It is continuously informing our engagement and product initiatives. The tool is more robust than we have the resources to currently master. That's a good thing. I can only imagine the results will get better and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our catalog is massive and the amount of metadata to power individualized communication is not conducive to manual campaign set up. I do wish Clevertap's had a more out of the box ability to address some of the mass personalized communication challenges we have, but they are working diligently with us to solve our issues with I appreciate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding is a challenge. That includes getting a user from install to sign up, and then from sign up to X number of downloads complete (our magic moment at which users start to retain much better). We have benefited most in improving the latter.
Reach Your Goals with CleverTap-Multichannel Marketing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
CleverTap allows us to message our customers on multiple channels, including reaching them on all active devices they're logged into. The Journeys feature allows for multi-messsage & multi-channel campaigns, all triggered by user behavior. Built-in analytics capabilities reduce the risk of data loss--data is no longer siloed. Creating user segments is simple and straightforward. Campaign creation is intuitive. The CleverTap team is extremely communicative. The support team is quick to respond, and handle all our issues and questions in a lightning-fast manner. The price for CleverTap is very competitive, especially given its robust capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some UI issues that make the platform buggy--the inability to save filtering options when toggling from a result back to the full results list. We are unable to set a campaign to launch at a particular time, THEN go out to users at the best time for them. Segmentation is somewhat limited--can't segment by "this" AND "this" OR "this"; when choosing a saved segment, it parses the criteria out individually again, instead of keeping the initial segmentation criteria, then allowing for additional queries to be added on top. (Other platforms allow for this.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using CleverTap to send onboarding/new user messaging, engagement & retention campaigns, as well as user-to-user triggered Journeys. We've seen an increase in onboarding/account completion after launching a Journey aimed at Android users who install but don't complete account. Analytics and reporting capabilities are somewhat limited; unable to create metrics reports that compare more than one event, or parsed by specific user properties.

The team that helped us get set up was so helpful and truly cared about us having success. The responsive time and the overall customer experience was amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I has was the early dealings with the sales team and communication. This was taken care of by expert on boarding and Sr Executives getting involved that addressed any of the issues we dealt with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a one stop tool to handle many aspects that our mobile app requires. The ability to use one program and the ease of learning how to implement was really helpful in our early stage start-up
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great company and product. Really feel that CleverTap has one of the best support teams of Viraf and Sumitra in the tech space.
Great lightweight & affordable tool with plenty of features for startups. Constantly gets better!
What do you like best about the product?
CleverTap has a lot of features for how affordable it is, and I am able to track user activity and segment groups easily. Marketing features are built right into CleverTap which makes it easy to reach out to under-engaged segments.
What do you dislike about the product?
We cannot rename events or create more complex unions and intersections of events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeing how users are engaging with our product and how that growth changes over time. We've also realized which features are confusing which has led us to improve the UX of those sections in the app.
Solid Service for Customer Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
We use CleverTap for all push notifications as well as campaign-based email messaging to support customer engagement and retention. In general, we find it to be a solid service for our fairly standard needs. One of the things we like most about CleverTap is their responsiveness to issues and feature requests. Our account rep has been super helpful since day one. Additionally, it's good to see the evolution of the product over time— it's clear to us that they've put quite a bit of money from their most recent fundraise toward product development. While we've only scratched the surface of the product in terms of the depth of features, it's nice to know that they continue to add more complex and feature-rich developments to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
• There is a bit of a learning curve in getting familiar with the tool

We use CleverTap to support user engagement and retention via targeted push notification and email campaigns. It has led to increased retention, active user counts and overall better user experience for our end users.

Integrates really well with our system and we can easily set up campaigns and journeys to reach our customers at critical touchpoints.

I don't like how we can't see a preview of the email from the scheduled page, or even after it's been sent. You either have to edit or clone to see the email content.
