Amazing tool to reengage and retain customers
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics of Clevertap is better than that of MoEngage, although they both charges on the notifications delivered or MAUs. It gives us insights into a user's behavior on our app, and on analyzing their funnel, we know where they are spending the most time. This analytics helps us in building features for our users and using them in our marketing copies too.
What do you dislike about the product?
As our active user base is increasing so is the pricing of Clevertap. No doubts it is an expensive tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to reengage and retain customers and push them to buy products. Getting card abandoners to buy is achievable through push notifications. With Clevertap we can trigger automated personalized notifications depending on the user behavior and journey in the app. The analytics of experimental campaigns gives us a clear understanding of what imagery or messaging resonates with our users. These learnings and insights help us to prevent churn and increase user engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Clevertap is an excellent tool to engage users and prevent churn and user drop-off. It reminds users what they are missing out on

Great tool for User Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the Push templates offered by clever tap; it has almost 25% greater CTRs as it helped us differentiate on the Notification lock screen and cut the clatter. Designing user journeys and segmentation based on user behavior and activity on the app helped us identify gaps and nudge users to perform specific intended in-app actions through FOMO or personalized messaging. The best part is the flexibility to do A/B testing among test and control cohorts, easily without coding. Clevertap is an excellent tool for Activation, Retention, Rengagement, and Resurrection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating user profiles is unbearably slow. It always keeps suggesting us to do an upgrade and also their ways to identify uninstallers doesn't seem to be very accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Growth Manager, I use CleverTap to enhance our end funnel conversion rates using push notifications, in-app notifications (interstitial and others) and promotional notifications. We also used Clevertap to nudge users to give our app a rating on google play store, and performed a lot of experiments on the best way to do so and CleverTap has helped a great deal in doing so.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Clevertap can be a bit expensive for small startups which don't have access to huge funds.

What do you like best about the product?
Automating Real-Time Personalization - Clevertap allows and enable to send personalized campaigns at the most recent time as soon as someone abandoned an activities
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited exposure to other add-on channels, like whats app at its full capabilities. I think letting this channel leverage the cleverTap data feed can be game-changer in a CRM Marketing echo system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If a user browses a particular category of product but does not make a purchase within 15-20 minutes, we can use smart automation to send a hyper-personalized inaction notification containing the most relevant image, content, and landing page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If the App Stickness & Lower CTR are the two major concerns while running the CRM Campaign. Then the Clevertap is the best fit for your problem statement.

Provide almost all the CRM options and the journey in clevertap is one of the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can not get the metrics of the users who have received sms or push notifications

At times event listeners can be a bit limiting to setting up campaigns

Driving user engagement and cross-sell initiatives. At a previous company, CleverTap helped us monetize our user data to contribute 10%+ of overall revenues.

By using Clevertap I'm able to experiment new ways to reach users we thought were already lost, also it's very likely to do a personalization process within the app

I would like to be able to upload a group of users and work due their activity on the app. Using Clevertao it's only possible if you identify the segment within Clevertap

We're currently working to re-engage customers, also to improve our sales and activity within the app. Tools such as the RFM have been very useful to create new strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
Clevertap has helped us understand and analyze our user's journey to create informed product decisions and guide our user on their journey to being successful in our application. The team is happy to help at any time, hopping on calls and optimizing our user journeys. Feels like they are part of your company, you just don't have to manage them!
What do you dislike about the product?
Clevertap has a TON of things you can do with it which can be overwhelming at the start. It's important to lean on the Clevertap team for guidance and know that at the start it may seem like a lot but it is well worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to turn lots of our stagnant users into activated users through the analytics and push notifications that Clevertap allows us to do. This has helped us hit our key metrics for the year.

Make sure you lean on Clevertap's support team and your dedicated manager to help set you up!
Best real time analytics platform with mkt triggers
What do you like best about the product?
How the platform has evolved in all these years.
Simple to setup, simple to start getting value and it's one of the most robust product marketing suite I know.

Pricing is on the mid/high side now and also it's not so public. I hate SaaS with not so upfront pricing models. But just that is my unique critique here. Rest is awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product Marketing stuff. Everyting: Onboarding, engagement, how to track user behaviours, how to move them deeper in funnel, reengage them via pushes, email, whatsapp...

Multiple channel engagement, dynamic and versatile segmentation, intricate data visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Creating segments using many parameters at a time. Data visualization is detailed, no need to download and filter data myself to find a particular trend. Overall functionalities compared to other platforms makes CVT 5 years ahead of others( depending on how fast others evolve).
What do you dislike about the product?
Ex. i can download data of users who clicked any campaign but can download time at which they clicked, in summary can't download events data, a big downside of CVT. If two users of CVT want to download data at same time, they cannot, requests runs in queue and another person have to wait until first persons' request is processed, at least 2 requests should be made run at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personalization. Integrating every channel with clevertap ex. email, sms to have all the channels' data at one place. Using complicated segments to target required database.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about clevertap is it's very easy to use and understand and helps to create a user engagement and user journey so easily. The best part is sending SMS and Emails and sending user profiles for Remarketing easily.

Customizing user Journeys and user behavior. Most of the retention segment and we get the RFM analysis at few clicks which most of the problems and helps in retention
