Logical LogicMonitor
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure. Comprehensive suite of DataSources (checks). Good return on investement with out-of-box configuration options providing powerful insights that immediately lower MTTR. Great product support, be it through well maintained documentation or customer support. Extensible and easy to integrate into systems such as ITSM or messaging tools for alert notifications. Easy to implement with bootstrap based collector deployment. A product I find myself using more and more as part of my day to day as it's features and the depth of information it extends becomes more prevalent and critical to BAU operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is unfortunate that datapoints are unable to return text values. Whilst text can be parsed to represent an outcome it's abstraction to an integer obfuscates information. There are some configuration elements of the system that do not lend themselves to scalability. Dashboards and graphical representation of data isn't quite as configurable as with other products within the same space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Administrative overheads associated with custom monitoring tool deployment, management and development.

We can ensure the monitoring of our customers' infrastructure and receive meaningful alerts

What do you like best about the product?
Provided you have a reasonable understanding of your architecture the LogicMonitor suite provides a great overview of the landscape, and highlights the areas requiring attention with sufficient detail to indicatre where to start working to resolve any issues. We use it several times a day so it is a part of our workflow, though mostly used at the start of the day. We make extensive use of a custom dashboard we have specific to our requirements and is a fantastic jumping-off point for issue determination and resolution. It has saved a fair amount of time as well, and helped identify patterns both intra-daily as well as over longer periods. No complaints, thouhg realise there's a lot left to work through
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of detail, can be overwhelming if you are not well-vesed in yourt enviornment. This is actually a good thing though, as you can get up to speed quickly with what you have, and it is clear the areas that require attention, which is hte whole point.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer support is outstanding along with the ease of use and ability to implement changes quickly. I end up using the product multiple times a week to help me in my jo.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI is taking some time to get used to along with the Selenium website monitoring still needs work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's meeting all of our corporate monitoring needs.
Easy to learn and use
What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly intuitive once set up. I also like that LM includes a training module that helps get the basics down quickly. Also, if features are needed that aren't currently in LM, the devs listen and are willing to create updates. Excellent and responsive customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to mass move or select multiple systems to perform actions on at the same time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to keep a finger on the pulse of our infrastructure and client facing websites.

What do you like best about the product?
Concise graphs that show problems clearly that help the NOC to determine who to alert.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding things that LogicMonitor doesnt do. Monitoring number of files in a folder in Windows is a good example. There are a few others but the dislikes are very low
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use LM as a alerting platform as most teams have their own tools for specific monitoring of applications and databases. It provides us with synthetic web checks which help us be aware of issues before users call in and complain.
Exceptional, Flexible, and Well-Supported Services
What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor's system is incredibly flexible and allowed us to tailor our monitoring setup to meet our business needs and user requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many separated, paid modules can make pricing out your deployment trickier than it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LogicMonitor is helping us measure and ensure the availability of our internal services, respond quickly to issues, and diagnose likely causes of issues that do arise. We're keeping our end-users happier with IT overall with our better responsiveness!
Great product for detailed infrastructure monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Very detailed monitoring out of the box. Great support and engagement from account management team and very keen to engage when exploring new opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
LogicMonitor is not very intuitive and can take a long time to master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using LogicMonitor to provide monitoring to larger on-prem and cloud customers where a standard RMM doesn't have a deep enough level of monitoring. Great for looking in to root cause of issues using LM Logs.
Enterprise Class Monitoring for Any Sized Customer
What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor is a great monitoring tool, with huge number of out of the box datasources which meet the needs of 99% of customers. Being able to create custom datasources for that remainng 1% is great and a testament to the overall felxibility of the platform. If something can be monitored LogicMonitor is the right tool for the job.
LogicMonitor integrates with our PSA (ConnectWise) which allows us to operationalise alerts far more effectiviy when compared to comting plaftoms which lack this ability.
Customer support is gernerally very good.

What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not perticuallry intuitive, the new interface has many improvements but right now I find that I must change frequently between the two to access what I need.
Reporting is an area that could do with improvement and should also incorporate executive style report templates.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LM provides a unified platform to monitor everything we need to and more for us and our cusomters.
LogicMonitor has been a great addition to our estate.

The ease of use of the product and the engagement from the professional services and technical support teams.
In addition to this is the fact that the product is rich in its out of the box integration meaning that the time to start monitoring quick in comparison to other legacy monitoring solutions.

A lack of ability to use the tool as a On-Premise solution only is one limitation.
