LogicMonitor allows us to monitor our systems

What do you like best about the product?
It has nice visual diagrams that we can put up on monitors in our office to show the health of our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non-technical individual, I need assist with setting up reports since it is a technical product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to share visual reports with other teams so they have visibility.

Smart, Clean and simple to get up and running

What do you like best about the product?
Ultimately LogicMonitor allows you to get running straight away with the inbuilt datasources, but once you get familiar with the product you learn the platform has so much to offer. The layout is brilliant and the ability to customize widgets/dashboards to how you want them for yourself and each customer is easy to use.

It's not only the product which is great but the whole LogicMonitor team from technical to the customer success team who deliver an efficient and personal experience and you feel that your not just a number to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the inbuilt features are great, to unlock the full scale of the platform you do need to know scripting for different vendors - it would be handy to have some whitepapers/kb's to assist with the scripting aspects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a focal point for monitoring as we were relying on vendor specific tools which were deployed at individual customer sites, this meant we didn't have an individual dashboard to track alerts.

With LogicMontior we have solved the vendor specific issue and now have a single pane of glass which can be accessed via web browser and easily presented. It's also given us the possibility to develop monitoring services for different vendors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The inbuilt features are great and get your running straight away, but to unlock the full capabilities you will need to get a handle on the different scripting/powershell requirements for different vendors.

Great software for collecting data and alerting

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate into ServiceNow and PagerDuty. Showing customers real time graphs of datapoints on devices in their infrastructure. Metrics that help us decide on purchasing new resources for ourselves and our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a bit cumbersome with certain functionalities. Dependencies could use some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Immediately being notified if something is done in our client's infrastructure. The ability to collect data for a client and point out areas where they are under provisioned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Deciding if Logicmonitor is worth your business' time is worth the effort.

What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor is a great cloud based monitoring tool.
This tool is easy to deploy across different sites, very easy to customize and tune based on your needs
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option today for SPC (Statistical process control) to auto tune the thresholds that does exist in other tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitor word wide production environments from single location and allows our customers to see their system’s health

Great Saas monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
This is an agentless system. You just need to install a collector in the network to start monitor everything. If your device or software is not monitored by defautl you can write your own, check the community for exchanging datasources or ask Logic Monitor to help. They are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really wrap my head around SLA measurement but that's probably me.
Even though dashboards are great and informative the design and graphics could be even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an MSP and monitor our customers servers. Logic Monitor help us to bow our services better and at the same time make us more flexible in providing "what more do you want to monitor" services.
Another big win is the integration to our ticket system. We let Logic monitor create, modify and resolve tickets automatically.

Great and Flexible Monitoring Platform

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of implementation and power of the tool is leaps ahead of other monitoring platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Writing datasources can be difficult if you do not have a good handle on the product you are trying to monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have seen our up-time increase and incidents decrease as we are able to see issues before they become a problem, and forecast capacity in a meaningful way to budget for growth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absolutely fantastic monitoring product. Fanatical support. Excellent product compatibility.

What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor is agent-less, native monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve was a little steep when I first started using them, but they've made great strides over the years to add training, documentation, and the support is first class!

A great software for monitoring the health and uptime of any kind of machine

What do you like best about the product?
We use LogicMonitor as our alerting system for our institution. We have multiple branches that come back into a central location as well as many core mission critical servers. As such we have alerts setup that notify IT staff of any critical communication failures. This allows us to be immediately aware of any communications or hardware failures. Often we are working on fixing the issue before end users have reported it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a little confusing as far as how to add the different statistics (CPU, memory, Hard disk, etc.) but it has been improving over time. They do provide some training videos and their support is willing to help you out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a solution that would alert us if critical equipment or communication lines had failed. LogicMonitor provides us with this solution with flying colors. With it's help we have helped maintain downtime for our users to a minimum.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a solution that provide you with alerting and reports as far as hardware usage statistics for critical infrastructure then LogicMonitor is something you'll want to consider.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity in software is amazing, you don't need a lot of experience and you can work a lot of things out. Support is always on the ball and will always help you and even create widgets for you to copy/use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way they sell the amount of devices is awkward. There is a big jump between 100 then 250 devices. That's a very big price jump. Need more variations in between those numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any issues with servers, such as exchange back pressure. Switching alerts such as changes to Spanning tree. VPN connectivity of firewalls and VPN concentrators.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth the trial. Quite pricey and awkward number of device counts. Very worthwhile for large organisations though. Provides a lot of transparency for your network which is what you need.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, Dashboards, Very good support, iOS and Android App
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience we were only able to purchase devices in packs of 100, meaning we can only go from 100 to 200 devices and not from 100 to 150 for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LogicMonitor gives us the ability to monitor all of our Infrastructure with relative ease, providing proactive alerts to allow us to fix problems before they happen.
