What do you dislike about the product?
- Monitoring + support can be a bit more streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Ability to slice-and-dice on realtime data at huge scale (~ 20T/day).
- Sub-second latencies for our most frequent queries at the above scale.
- Tiered storage reduces our storage infra costs.
- Fast support has reduced the ops load on our developers ~ 0.

What do you like best about the product?
Support - the technical team is very knowledgable and helpful. The product is delivering what it promise,
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is not up-todate. UI can be tested more rigorously. API documentation can be improved by providing samples on how to call the features ( Curl or Postman)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low latency query from wide column data source with millions of ingestion per day
Excellent choice for real-time aggregations and related analytics use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Startree and Apache Pinot is an excellent choice for user-facing workloads involving aggregation-oriented queries on large datasets. The performance & resource efficiency compares very well with other choices out there at the moment
What do you dislike about the product?
Operating a production cluster and following recommended best practices for a cloud deployment is difficult. There are gaps in current feature set and capabilties which if addressed can help on this front

We are using it as OLAP datastore. I am using it for both batch and real time use-cases.

What do you like best about the product?
StarTree has made it easy to get started with real-time analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited SQL support, it would be great to do some more advanced things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
StarTree helps getting started answering analytical questions from streams. This is very useful for many user-facing and internal analytics.

Customers need to reach out to StarTree for many issues. They don't have many alerts.

Fast queries for real-time analytics

Love the customer support, they will respond to issues and provide the fixes needed.

Would like more refinement in on call alerting, to enable better communication between our organization and the on call staff

What do you like best about the product?
StarTree use many open-source projects but also have their unique features on top of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is not so fast, but when the ticket is closed always pushes you to evaluate their work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have time-to-time meetings with the StarTree team and they talk to us about new features and explain to use their products in a more sophisticated way.
