Free Tier A logically isolated workspace with bust capacity (up to 10 vCPUs) and 100GB storage. Perfect for development and prototyping. Deployment is on a single Availability Zone (AZ) using the public network with SSL2 authentication.
Standard Tier Starting at $999/month billed annually (or $1249/month with monthly billing and no commitment). Provides 5 StarTree compute units (STU), and 1 TB of storage. Users can add more compute or storage capacity to their cluster based on their workload needs. This production-ready cluster is deployed across 2 AZs, and allows for VPC peering and private links. This cluster includes a 99.9% uptime SLA and standard support.
Premium Starting at $3999/month with annual billing. Provides 15 StarTree compute units and 3 TB storage. Users can add more compute or storage capacity to their cluster based on their workload needs. Additional capacity is billed at the same rate. This production-ready cluster is deployed across multiple (3 or more) AZs, and allows for VPC peering/private links. This cluster comes with a 99.9% uptime SLA and premium support.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for StarTree is for data processing. As a specific example of how I use StarTree for data processing, we divide different data into the star and then call StarTree. I use StarTree for real-time analytics.
What is most valuable?
I think the best features StarTree offers is the charting. What stands out to me about the charting feature is the speed. StarTree has positively impacted my organization because it's open source, and it lowered the calls and the speed. When I say it lowers the calls, I mean it reduces the number of queries or API calls.
What needs improvement?
StarTree could be improved with better support, as I think it would be better to have a quicker response when we raise an issue. I think you are doing great.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using StarTree for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
StarTree is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I think StarTree's scalability is pretty good; you can set up the EC2Â better with auto scaling.

What do you like best about the product?
StarTree offers extremely fast, real-time analytics at scale. I like how easy it is to explore large datasets with low-latency queries, and the platform is reliable even during high-traffic workloads. The UI is intuitive, and the ability to onboard data quickly makes it very efficient for analytics teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some configuration steps can feel complex for new users, especially when fine-tuning performance or managing ingestion pipelines. At times, the documentation could provide clearer examples. Initial setup also requires some learning curve, but once configured, it works smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
StarTree helps us handle large volumes of data and run real-time analytical queries with very low latency. It solves the problem of slow dashboards and delayed insights, allowing teams to make faster decisions and improve user experience. The performance and scalability have made our analytics much more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?

Additionally, the platform’s extensive integration options and scalability make it well-suited to accommodate expanding data requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the system initially may demand a significant level of technical knowledge, particularly when dealing with more complex integration scenarios. At times, I find the documentation lacks sufficient detail, and support for less typical use cases seems somewhat restricted. Additionally, as data volume and user numbers increase, pricing can become a notable concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
StarTree enables efficient real-time analytics on massive datasets, eliminating delays in accessing insights for both technical and business users. This helps my team track user behavior trends swiftly and optimize decision-making, which is critical for improving our products and services. It also reduces the complexity of maintaining separate analytics infrastructure, freeing up resources for core development and innovation.

What do you like best about the product?
It handles massive amounts of data and still gives super fast query results. I like that it’s built on Apache Pinot but adds extra features that make setup, scaling, and management a lot smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a little steep at first, especially when figuring out indexing and tuning performance. But once you get the hang of it, it’s worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a real-time analytics solution for user-facing dashboards, and StarTree nailed it. It helps us query huge datasets in seconds, without worrying about performance drops as we scale.

I like best that using StarTree, we can handle even large data volume efficiently , also features like Third Eyes I like most

I would say setup and integration because if somebody is not familiar with Apache pinot , and also I sufficient documentation

As StarTree has Third eye feature, it helps me to identify unusual patterns in my application data which helped me to improve security aspects of my application , also it helped me in cost savings and increase of efficiency
