An excellent partner for SOC 2 Certification
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a very well-designed system with high-quality customer support and consulting services that helped us achieve SOC 2 certification in record time. The software is easy to use and intuitive, and everything you need to know and do is included. The integrations with other systems make the whole process much easier and transparent. For us the integration with Azure and Jira were particularly useful. Vanta's customer success team and our assigned auditors we great, supporting us and helping us to get our organization audit ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike, Vanta works great. Every part of the system and service is excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has helped us get certified in record time. This was essential for us because of a customer-driven requirement to be certified which was holding up cash flow. For us, certification was mission-critical, and Vanta came through for us.
Enables fast SOC2 compliance!
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta quickly helped us get our SOC2 audit report by connecting our services and employees and provided the tasks needed. For the first audit they helped us get all the policies and routines in place! Its also great for keeping track of all compliance and making sure we follow our security controls. Makes security compliance life easier =)

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. Had had some issues with the local installation of the Vanta agent on employees' computers, but got fast help from the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us get our first SOC2 Audit report. Helps us stay compliant with minimal manual input.

Monitoring of our infrastructure. List of tests that need to be completed to reach compliance.

There is no guidance on standards to use for specific policies. Ideally, policies would be filled out as an onboarding exercise.

What do you like best about the product?
As a user of Vanta, I am impressed by its ability to streamline our security auditing and compliance processes. The platform makes it easy to navigate through complex requirements, saving us time and effort. I appreciate how Vanta automates assessments and provides real-time monitoring, giving us peace of mind knowing that our systems are continuously evaluated for compliance. Additionally, the platform's comprehensive coverage of various regulatory frameworks ensures that we stay on top of evolving industry standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta does provide discounts for TrustCenter to existing customers, I would like to emphasize that it is included to provide us with peace of mind.

It provides us with complete compliance automation.

What do you like best about the product?
The automated nature of security tests makes sharing compliance proof with auditors or for IT questionnaires easy. The proof being centralized to one platform saves time and the compliance over time of each test strengthens the proof.
What do you dislike about the product?
IT questionnaires remain a major time investment even with the centralization of proof. While Vanta simplifies the process of filling out questionnaires significantly, there's always the last-mile problem of filling out unique questionnaires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solves setting up a good set of security and trust principles and monitors their achievement, and then makes the proof of these achievements readily available for auditors. This benefits us by making SOC 2 audits simple, and makes filling out IT questionnaires easier.
Best systems, security and controls automation platform I've found.
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations for real-time monitoring of hosting environment, employee hardware, background checks, policy and SLAs adherence is fantastic for C-suite to be able to monitor and be notified without having to learn/access disparate systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to still do a once-a-year, point in time audit with a CPA firm feels unnecessary when there is a system like Vanta doing real-time monitoring of actual security and compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparation, support and completion of necessary activities for setup and monitoring of our company and environment to ensure the security of sensitive information as well as providing necessary documentation for our SOC 2 type 2 audit.
Step-by-step to success
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta gave us the roadmap to a successful SOC2 Type 1 audit and let us plug in 90 percent of our services and vendors while providing our sales team with trust reports for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constantly changing user interface had us call Vanta support to find some metrics and tables.

Pathway to a successful SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2 with Trust Reports for prospective clients along the way.
Great GRC platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Great collection of standards, controls and tests. Implementation is easy and transparent. Interface is very user friendly!

Some controls tests are not so obvious to understand

Preparation to ISO 27001 certification and cloud security posture management
Vanta makes compliance more efficient and accurate by many orders of magnitude.
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is really good at its core functionalities: 24/7 monitoring, straightforward suggestions on remediations, and historical documentation for use by compliance auditors. I genuinely believe that it is much easier to achieve compliance using Vanta. We use Vanta daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not think of anything that I dislike about Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has helped our company become SOC 2 Type II compliant for the past two years. By incorporating Vanta into our onboarding, offboarding, monitoring, and testing, our systems aren't just compliant but also much better secured.

Honestly, not much. It took a little while to get used to the updated design, but it's great.
