What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track all tasks across a variety of areas of the business and the flexibility of catering to a wider range of international compliance and regulations
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all at the moment, service has been impeccable and have been provided with the best support through Vanta Success Management team. Only wish the price would be all-inclusive of new features and certifications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Address security and compliance holistically without having to onboard expensive external agencies who only provided a one-sided solution instead of an all-encompassing solution.

I have not foud anything to dislike. Everything seems to be here
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unsecured employee accounts. Workstations not up to par for basic security requirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you're connecting to all essential vendors, Vanta quickly shows where the services contain potential issues and where they may be located. You can decide with their recommendations if you need to improve or not. For unsupported vendors, they explain the steps to take into consideration for self-evaluating any potential threats. They took care of all the big complicated vendors with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
APIs, pre-made documents for controls and policies, and customer service (thanks Camille!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the interface were difficult to find (e.g. documents) and the graph at the home page is confusing

SOC 2 certification type 1, we got it!

What do you like best about the product?
Notification. It has a gread dashboard experience, I could review all of the compliance and tasks need to do to help our IT and business to improve our security level.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not support windows11, and some of the connections do not have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 and SOC3, after we used Vanta, we could promote our IT platform level to SOC2 and SOC3, and in the future we will be PCI compliance as well.
Provides a spotlight into the darkest corners of your enterprise.
What do you like best about the product?
Having a tool that can scan for areas in our infrastructure that we may not even know exists and point out accounts that do not have MFA on them helps us be proactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mac OS Keychain not being considered a password management application because it is there out of the box. This can be circumvented by installing a different password manager, but no mechanism ensures a manager is used, only installed. This seems overly pedantic and does not address good password hygiene.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Still in the early stages, but it has shown us a lot of 'low hanging fruit' that were quick hits to fix up. It also identified some databases that did not have alarms set.
Excellent Tool to accomplish SOC2 or PCI
What do you like best about the product?
You can monitor the status of your infrastructure and help to cover different points as monitoring, security, policies, etc, Also helps to create a complete onboarding process for your company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the vanta-agent has issues registering the computer's employees, and you need to review the documentation and try different steps to resolve this incident.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make sure your infrastructure has the correct policies and the points you need to cover if you need a complaint (SOC2). Currently, Vanta helped us to have an onboarding process for all employees and new employees.

Easiest way to get SOC 2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward with exactly what we need to do and has built in monitoring tools to automate as much of the work as possible. We've evaluated many tools up until now and this has been superior to every other one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is definitely a bit confusing to set up many of the simple features. Not a big fan of how many things are cramped into the settings bar. However, functionally it does everything.

The document templates are extremely helpful in allowing us not to start from scratch.

Lifesaver for SOC2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta automatically created a working list of where to focus our attention to become SOC2 compliant. Without Vanta, we would not have been able to get SOC2 compliant in such a short amount of time. Our monthly check-ins were espcially helpful to make sure we had all the things we needed to become compliant. They lined us up with auditors and penetration testers and really set us up for success. If you need some type of compliance, I would absolutely check Vanta out!
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard has since changed, but at first, I couldn't easily find the `needs attention` tasks. However, the new dashboard is great and has the filtering right at the top!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 Compliance. The list of things to prioritize and work on was invaluable since we had no idea what was required and what wasn't. Also, we get the weekly email about things we need to keep an eye on in order to keep our company in a complaint state along the way.
