Vanta is a top notch trust management platform
What do you like best about the product?
As a CISO I appreciate Vanta’s trust management platform for its continuous automation of security and compliance processes, reducing manual workload and allowing focus on strategic initiatives. The platform’s real-time monitoring, streamlined audits, and scalability ensure that compliance is maintained efficiently as the organization grows. Additionally, Vanta’s team was always available to help us through the learning required to use the platform effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta has hundreds of integrations that allow for automated continuous compliance. Though even with the broad range available there were a few tools that we use that were not covered by existing integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta addresses several key challenges in security and compliance management. By automating these processes, it reduces the manual workload and minimizes human error, ensuring continuous compliance without constant oversight. This real-time monitoring helps identify and mitigate vulnerabilities promptly, enhancing overall security. Additionally, Vanta streamlines audits by maintaining up-to-date records, saving time and effort during audit preparations. Its scalability ensures that as your organization grows, your compliance measures can keep pace. For you, this means more efficient and effective management of security and compliance, allowing you to focus on strategic initiatives and reducing the stress associated with manual compliance tasks.
Excellent for Risk & Compliance Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love the multi-dimensional mapping / points of views that Vanta supports. I've found it so much easier to evidence a common set of controls and how these controls meet the requirements of multiple different frameworks, internal audits, external audits, regulatory obligations, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love a few minor tweaks:
- Easier upload of custom frameworks (so that the numbering of the sub sections displays in correct ascending order)
- Ability to change the approval request/approval refresh date for Documents (policies) stored in the platform

The automated scans were fantastic and the guidance on how to address certain tasks and automated scans was wuper useful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see additional resource scans added in the future, but overall great experience!

It is helping us with automated scanning of our environment and preparing for SOC2.

Quick onboarding and straight forward guidance on SOC2 implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations are well documented and easy to configure, well defined examples and templates on automated tests and documents. Onboarding with a VIP partner helped dramatically with getting policies finalized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see some more integrations for access control, and it was a bit frustrating that the user auditing was an additional cost. Well worth the cost, just have to reask for additional resources.

Simplifying SOC2 processes and procedures.

It is very useful to have your controls monitored, status of processes and to consolidate information in 1 place

There is a lack of some features or option, but the product team welcomes feedback and in general works to implement the missing items

Vanta help us to consolidate several process in one tool. We manage vendors, access reviews, controls, audits, policies and more. You are able to have all the information in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta allows us to manage and stay ahead when it comes to compliance. It is easy to use and manage and when you want a new integration the comapny works to have it done. I love Vanta

I have nothing to say bad about Vanta. It is a good product

The easiest way to compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The way things are broken into tests makes it super easy to figure out what needs to be done and what needs to change. Besides, every test has a list of steps to fix the present issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any big complaints about vanta. If I had to complain, I would say some of the integrations are a bit flaky and need to be redone frequently. Also, while it's clear what the majority of tests cover, some are a bit harder to understand.

Getting SOC2/ISO27001 compliance.
