Great tool to navigate through certification requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helped us identify the areas we needed to work toward our certification. Then integration with AWS and Azure AD saves us a lot of time in continuously monitoring our systems and making sure that we remain compliant and that the whole process is not a "one-time exercise".
Our Customer Success Manager (Taylor Buckler) helped us from day one until certification, and we were not dropped after the onboarding period.
As a product, there are a lot of new features getting released often enough to keep us engaged.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few product glitches and issues in the early stages, especially since some features were released during our onboarding. However, Vanta Support and Taylor were there to assist us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us get ready for our auditing, not only with the tools (i.e., Vanta templates or integration with AWS) but by also providing a "meter" as to how close we are. It is exciting seeing that you are at 50% and then do a few things and go to 60% and keep trying to get to 100%. Once you cross the 95% mark, it feels like hitting a high score on a video game!
Of course, keeping the meter at a high level is the second part of the game after the certification, and Vanta makes it easy to identify areas that need attention. So it is not a one-time tool, but an ongoing essential part of our business.
Trust Center is a great place for our customers and potential customers to get answers and "3rd party" assurance. Death to questionnaires!

Not perfect but in constant improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful about Vanta is being able to organize, view, measure and monitor your requirements and their status. Best thing about working with Vanta is definitely their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very customizable, so it was sometimes difficult to adapt to a small company like ours. The Vanta team is always happy to receive feedback and improvement wishes, and some were even implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is centralizing all our effort in one tool, which makes our work so much easier and saved us a lot of time.

A great tool for evidence tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been extremely helpful in organizing and tracking security controls within our organization. It helped save me time by automatically collecting most of the evidence required for our SoC2 audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations list is still somewhat limited. The UI is very busy and rigid.

Vanta has helped us track the evidence needed to show compliance with our cybersecurity and organization's rules.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been indispensable in helping us achieve SOC2 compliance. If you pair it with an auditor integrated with Vanta, it really lets you focus on the more challenging parts of compliance. They are constantly updating the application by adding new monitors and integrations, and their support has always been helpful and pleasant to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess one minor annoyance would be that due to their regular updates, some UI elements or parts of the application can move around and be hard to find. I haven't seen them remove anything outright, but buttons have moved/changed, or you may need to look in a different part of the site to find something that has been relocated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It mainly helps us with achieving our SOC2 Type2 compliance. It gets a lot of the low-level compliance tasks off of your plate. You no longer have to worry about proving risk remediation timelines or account deletion timelines; it's all built in.

Helping stay on top of our compliance. From SOC2 to ISO.
Very pleased with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very easy way to get from 0-60 in as little time as possible. We are going for our ISO 27001 certification, and their system will cut the time to get the certification in half.
In addition, in the past I have managed ISO and SOC certifications. Vanta costs a fraction of what it would cost to hire a consultant to do the work. I was considering spending ~$!00k, whereas Vanta came in at a fraction of that estimate.
They were also very flexible on pricing and opt-out rights--which we never exercised

What do you dislike about the product?
It's taken a little more time than I would like to get up and running. Vanta's onboarding and implementation process could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting our ISO certification, answering security questionnaires from prospective clients, managing vendors and risk reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Our account exec was prompt, knowledgable, helpful and easy to access throughout onboarding.

Nothing yet, everything seems good. I wish it was a little cheaper but broadly pretty reasonably priced.

Vanta makes it easy by providing templates and guidance for each compliance requirement. The customer service is second to none and the people are excellent resources for any and all questions. They make this process exponentially easier and we couldn't do it without them.

There is nothing I dislike about the product or the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is providing the outline for all policies, procedures and steps needed to obtain SOC 2 and HIPAA certification.
Complex made easy
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it way easier for someone who is not a full-blown SOC engineer to drive SOC compliance within your business. It takes most of the guesswork out of it while still making templates available for documents or controls that you may not have in the business. Reaching out to customer support was super easy and the team was ready to help. It made the implementation and integration super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
At face value, there is a lot to take in, which can make Vanta intimidating. We struggled a little to gain direction and traction on where to start but after we built our own little check list on an excel document we were able to gain some direction and traction. A task list or better sorting feature within Vanta would be a massive help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta provides us a platform and solution to drive our SOC2 compliance within our business, without having to recruit a full time soc engineer that would talk geek and not business to achieve our SOC2 compliance.
