What do you like best about the product?
I love how Vanta simplifies my SOC 2 audit preparation. It clearly breaks down everything I need to complete, showing me what needs my attention, which is incredibly helpful. I appreciate how it facilitates collaboration with my auditor, making the audit process smoother and more efficient. The feature of having a list of tests and controls is invaluable as it allows me to manage my tasks clearly and without the need to track them externally, like on a spreadsheet. I also like that Vanta consolidates everything in one place, offering seamless integration with my cloud services like AWS. I can make changes, and it automatically re-runs the tests, saving me significant time and effort. The initial setup was also quite easy, making my overall experience with the platform very positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Vanta could improve in how it informs me about tasks and provides reminders. The current ways it tells me what I need to work on and reminds me of tasks are perhaps not as effective as I would like. I would appreciate a feature that encourages me to engage with the platform more frequently instead of primarily at the end of an audit cycle, although I'm not sure what exactly this improvement would look like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for SOC 2 audit preparation. It organizes and highlights tasks and supports auditor collaboration, simplifying my workflow. I appreciate that it's centralized, integrates with AWS, and automates task re-running, saving time and effort.
Trust Center & Vendor Risk Management Are Standout Features
What do you like best about the product?
I personally appreciated how straightforward the integration process was, as well as the convenience of the daily dashboard for monitoring GRC status. I also found the Trust Center and Vendor Risk Management features particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI-powered chatbot for real-time support still has room for improvement.

Vanta has been instrumental in addressing two key challenges for us: achieving greater transparency in our security posture and managing third-party risk more efficiently.
The Trust Center allows us to securely and professionally display our compliance status, policies, and audit reports to the public. This feature removes the need for repeatedly sending documents back and forth, which not only saves significant time for our sales and legal teams but also helps establish immediate trust with prospects and partners, particularly during vendor assessments.
The Vendor Risk Management module has greatly improved the way we evaluate and monitor third-party vendors. Rather than relying on spreadsheets and lengthy email exchanges, we now benefit from a centralized platform where we can send questionnaires, track responses, and assess risk levels. The automation and AI-driven insights built into the system make it much easier to prioritize vendors and identify potential issues early on.
In summary, Vanta has enabled us to scale our compliance program, minimize manual work, and enhance visibility for all stakeholders, all while upholding a robust security posture.

What I like best about Vanta is its automated compliance monitoring and evidence collection. The platform streamlined our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification process significantly. Implementation was straightforward with seamless integrations to GitHub, Azure, and Salesforce. The intuitive dashboard provides clear visibility into our compliance posture, making gap identification easy. Automated evidence collection saves substantial time during audits. Customer support has been responsive and helpful in navigating complex requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta is comprehensive, the initial setup required significant time investment to configure all integrations and customize policies to our specific needs. Some automated checks occasionally flag false positives, requiring manual review and justification. The platform can feel overwhelming initially due to the breadth of features and compliance requirements it covers. Additionally, certain advanced customization options have a learning curve. Pricing scales with company size and integrations, which can become costly as you grow. More granular control over automated workflows would be beneficial.

It eliminates the time-consuming process of manually gathering audit evidence and tracking security controls across multiple systems. What do you like best about the product?
Via the automations and integrations, Vanta makes it easy for our 1-person compliance team to operate like a much larger team. By subscribing to the various frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, PCI, etc...) we can continuously track towards compliance of those controls in preparation for external audits. The template policies are great, and the associated training modules are fun (love the llama). I continue to be impressed with the additional features/improvements that Vanta makes, especially the integration of AI into the tool for third party vendor management, answering security questionnaires, and evaluating uploaded audit evidence (pre-submission). Oh, and the Trust Center was a game-changer for us - really helps to showcase how serious we are about security and compliance. Lastly, anytime I have had to create a support ticket for something, they have been very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
For audit evidence they need to create a drop down to allow searching/selecting previously uploaded evidence. This will eliminate duplicate uploads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Automates control testing for our integrated cloud environments - this reduces the amount of evidence we have to pull.
2) The integrations also make access reviews a breeze since we don't have to manually pull access lists from the cloud environments.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta's clearly dedicated modules for every section, making it easy for even first-time users to set up and get accustomed to its functionalities. I find Vanta's interface user-friendly, allowing permissions to be easily extended to necessary users. The end-to-end modules, like Vanta Access and Vanta Managed Vendors, are particularly helpful for maintaining compliance and providing a centralized GRC tool for audits. My work and my clients' compliance efforts are well supported, and I find the system remarkably easy to use daily. Vanta's UI and UX are intuitive, facilitating smooth onboarding for novice users who can quickly adapt and start conducting business as usual. The ease of use and comprehensive tool set make Vanta appealing for repurchase. On the occasions where I encountered integration issues, such as with Okta or GitHub, the problems were resolved through straightforward troubleshooting, emphasizing Vanta's overall ease and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Vanta integration can sometimes be problematic when trying to integrate with specific apps like Okta and GitHub. Although these integration issues require just basic troubleshooting, they do occur and can be inconvenient.

I use Vanta to track client compliance efforts effectively, benefiting my governance, risk, and compliance work. Its easy setup and intuitive modules simplify user access and maintain a centralized tool for audits, enhancing overall efficiency.
Effortless Compliance Management with Vanta—Seamless Integrations and Powerful AI
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy to keep track of all our compliance documentation and records. It was easy to connect to our cloud providers and the integrations were well documented. We were up and running within a day.
As the Compliance Manager, I keep Vanta open in a browser tab so I can check in daily on our status - even though we have the Slack integration as well, the UI is really well designed and the dashboard keeps me informed.
The scoping tools are very helpful for controlling and defining what is in and out of scope for audits. And the AI Agent really simplifies policy writing and maintenance!

I can't say there are any downsides to using Vanta. It is really an excellent tool for ensuring compliance. It would be nice if there were integrations for a couple of our smaller tools, but that is on the vendor, not Vanta, to complete.

As a small startup with limited resources, Vanta has been instrumental in our journey to SOC2 compliance. Without Vanta, we would be stuck doing a lot of manual paperwork and auditing, wasting many hours on things that have already been automated. Vanta's templates and AI agent enabled us to quickly draft and update policies as needed, while serving as a central repository for the latest approved versions as well. Our Auditors were able to provide quick, trackable feedback through the platform, and it enabled us to provide the evidence in a centralized and organized manner. Vanta has simplified what we thought would be a long and painful journey toward compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Vanta is how much it simplifies compliance and security tracking. It automatically monitors controls, collects evidence, and keeps everything organized, which saves a huge amount of manual effort. The interface is clean and easy to use, and I really like how it gives a clear picture of audit readiness at any time. It makes the whole compliance process much smoother and less stressful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike, but sometimes the integrations can take a bit of time to sync or need a quick refresh to show the latest data. A few more customization options in reporting and dashboard views would also be nice to have. Overall though, it’s a solid platform that does its job really well.

Vanta is helping automate and simplify the entire compliance process, which used to be very time-consuming and manual. It continuously monitors security controls, collects evidence, and alerts us to gaps before they become issues. This not only saves a lot of effort during audits but also ensures we’re always audit-ready. It’s made maintaining SOC 2 and ISO compliance much easier and has improved overall visibility into our organization’s security posture.

The product is well designed very user friendly. It's make our soc2 process so much easier. The support is very great.

I have not come to something i dislike know. We had an issue with one integration that some time to resolve but it was very specific to our setup.

Managing soc2 has become much simpler thanks to this. It really streamlines the entire process.
Centralized Compliance Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
All of our compliance-related tasks are centralized in one location. Whenever I have a question or need to handle a process, I can easily find it through the sidebar menu.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't use it often, you might have trouble finding what you need. Changes in the product and features are communicated through email, but most of us don't read newsletters nowadays. An in-app update would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing all compliance tasks in one centralized location is very convenient. Auditors and other stakeholders have their own access to the platform, which makes the audit process much smoother. The system also handles many processes automatically, including setting up reminders and renewal dates. Additionally, the risk assessment feature is excellent.
