Too many technical issues
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to keep track of calls and text logs
What do you dislike about the product?
There were always issues with the site being down or something going on that would cause us to miss calls and texts so we stopped using Ring Central
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to find calls that needed to be reviewed for billing purposes or quality assurance

I absolutely love that faxing is simple and easy, not to mention ring central has a huge allowable file size!
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I personally dislike about using the app, it has always been user friendly and I receive any faxes sent to me, as well as I have had no one complain of not receiving outgoing faxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can write faxes quickly and easily, as well as viewing them. No ink refills, it’s all electronic!
Unnecessary at a small practice

You can let people know before or during the call that you will be recording.
You are able to choose the groups of calls you want to record.
The calls are saved and you can go back and listen to them when you want.

This feature is not really essential or needed at a smaller business unless calls are very important and need to be reviewed again and again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This feature can help when training new employees
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are wanting to use this feature to monitor calls for training purposes or because you need to screen or review calls this is the feature for you. I feel it would be effective at larger companies for these purposes

Easy to create meetings and send invitations to other users

Sometimes difficultly to move meetings around and have the number sync with the change

I like that you can listen to calls that you just made.

It can be hard to find recordings, after a month you can't find them at all. Needs an easier way to search for old recordings.

There are many options for how you can configure your office's phone system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of all the options things can get a little confusing. Occasionally our phone system seemed to "act up" and ring in weird ways, where our clients weren't getting through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have one phone number that can be forwarded to our agents' cell phones is great. No one really works out of our main office, but it is still important to have a central office phone number.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for it to be tricky to set up, and take advantage of any training or support provided to make sure it is all done correctly. Feel free to reach out to support whenever you aren't sure of something.
Expensive for par quality
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that you can transfer to another line on your cell phone without the app open.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything else. Not user friendly. expensive. dropped calls. Have had lots of problems.

staff being able to use their cell phones without giving out their cell phone numbers.

Make sure your prices are locked in otherwise they will blow your budget in 6 months.
It works, but needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see recordings up to 60 Days back.
What do you dislike about the product?
The entire system is terrible at completing clear calls, so the recordings are unclear as well at times. Also, there's times that it cuts off before the recording is done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to my employees calls to see what patterns they've developed, good or bad, so that I can coach them to be successful.
Corporate Communication Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
One single platform for phone calls, inter-office chat, and online meetings. If I need to get in touch with someone, I have all the choices right in front of me. The integration with Outlook is great as well/
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are glitches and messages take a while to deliver. It's also an issue at times that message show up on screen while in a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating across multiple offices/countries in real time. Easy to use tool for prospect meetings and in-house requirements.
It's ok, could be better
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing about this program is ease of use. It's very use friendly, and I can find the things I need easily. And change my status, as well as the number that is displayed when I call someone. It also records your calls which is VERY helpful. You can even send text messages!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are a lot of bugs. Some times I have to call someone 5 times before it will start ringing. And I will get recordings saying the number is disconnected or busy, and if I keep trying to call, after 3-5 times the call will finally go through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ring central makes it easy for a business to make calls without needing a landline. You just need to download and hook up a headset to your computer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely make sure you have a really good internet connection. And if you call someone and it won't go through, try 5 more times before giving up!
