Nice Application
What do you like best about the product?
You can do multiple tasks with this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it moves slow. But nothing major.

Returning phone calls quickly.

I like the live monitoring features as well as the search options & the ability to listen to & download any call

Nothing comes to mind, all positive experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our only phone system in the office & the call monitoring is a huge feature used for quality checks of our agents.
RingCentral is more than just meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Ring Central is that you get other services (such as the Ring Central productivity app) as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
They seem to have a lot of glitches. My account has been suspended a few times without ever getting a real explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a great way to pull together people from all over the world and meet with them as if you’re in the same room. We’re also getting to finally hold those seminars that logistically have not been possible. We often leave meeting open for people to just check in through out the work week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You get more bang for your buck.
Great tool for everyday video conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
RC is so easy to use. You can schedule meetings in advance or simply start one and send an invite. Meet with one or several people at once, share a file or your desktop with the click of a button. Chat and more are completely integrated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the controls are not easy to find initially. For example, to join a call, you have to click on Video, even if you're joining an audio call. And you can't easily connect your desktop with your phone when dialing in, so there are often two different "connections" for the same person if using both laptop and mobile (I might do this sometimes if there's a poor connection or if I want to have mobility -- not be tethered to my desk -- during the meeting).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RC Meetings makes it so much easier to have everyday video calls. With our remote workers, we can have regular "face time" with team members and colleagues. This benefits everyone on a project. We can have a group of people on a call and see each other easily. The video is much more reliable than Skype or WebEx too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ring Central is a really good product. We tried other VoIP systems before selecting RC and made the decision based on the pricing and support.

It was somewhat difficult to figure out the voicemail setup at first

I never miss a work call. I can be traveling, out a client, or even away from my computer and I’m always connected thanks to the application on both my computer and my cell phone

Having it tied to your cell phone is key

I like that the app can be downloaded on any device.

I dislike when meeting invites do not show accepted or do not pop up on calendars consistently.

I am able to hold meetings with Ring Central the same as I would with Lync.

Works for those who have the software, but not for those who don't (i.e. our clients)

Our clients can never get into our meetings. Last 2 presentations delayed by 20 minutes each due to "technical problems"

For internal use this is fine, but if you want to use with clients, look elsewhere.

allows me to call from my computer with different phone numbers, and integrates with SalesForce to track activity

sometimes has connection issues with the servers, and also occasionally has issues logging calls to salesforce
