User-Friendly with Great Voicemail Features, But Holiday Updates Are Tedious
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use system with our staff - love the feature being able to have voicemails sent to email formate

the hardest part about the system is when I have to change the voicemail messages for holiday times . there are so many steps involved
Also I still have figured out how to change the on hold music when transferring to specific extenstions

Recently I called that no all our voice mail messages are being transcribed into email format . Unsure why this is happening

User Friendly and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Ring Central is straightforward to use and provides a variety of features, including texting, faxing, and phone calls, among others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not happy that the fax history disappears after a certain period. It would be better if the records stayed available for longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ring Ex has been helpful for me because it allows me to make calls from my work number directly on my computer, even when I am not near my phone. The text feature also enables me to connect with more patients, making communication much easier.
Easy to use but lacks useful features
What do you like best about the product?
it is easy to use and easy to update. we use it for our oncall rota
What do you dislike about the product?
it is very basic and doesn't offer video calling or an option to view the number ringing if you miss the call

it is our source of providing our on call rota making it an easy process for clients to call through

Customer service has been a good experience. I'm also really happy with the app and how easy it is to use.

Dashboard can be a little confusing at but once you get used to the layout it works well.

What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate the AI feature and the summaries it provides. Texting and SMS are essential for our work, and we rely on RC throughout the day. It's extremely easy to use, whether on a mobile device or a computer. I particularly enjoy using the desktop app. The user guide is also quite helpful, offering clear instructions on how to navigate the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any real dislikes. The product offers a wide range of features. They only "down side" is if you need tech support it is hit or miss depending on the rep you get.

It allows us to reach out to our current customers and also connect with potential new clients.
RingEx is very flexible comms platform. I've setup 15 contact center very easily using IVR editor
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and rapid implementation were impressive, allowing our employees to adapt quickly with minimal training. The platform offers many features, including video, voice, messaging, and integration capabilities. Additionally, the support team is both knowledgeable and highly responsive. I also frequently of use the support button to ask for support if I have some queries
What do you dislike about the product?
If you lack basic VOIP experience, the initial setup can feel overwhelming. I understand that some integrations naturally require effort, but occasional call quality issues may affect reliability. Additionally, I found that the live reports and analytics could use more context and would benefit from being more user-friendly, especially for those not technically inclined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have addressed all our challenges, particularly in managing communication channels by bringing voice, video, and messaging together, and streamlining our tools into a single platform. This consolidation eliminates the need for separate applications and makes it much easier for teams to stay connected in the office or remotely. The most significant benefits we've experienced include increased team productivity, quicker customer response times, and reduced IT overhead, as we no longer have to manage multiple communication tools.
Lots of Functionality but Some Clunky Aspects in Admin Portal
What do you like best about the product?
RingEX provides a lot of customization and functionality to meet diverse needs, which I think is very important since this program isn't specific to any industry or area of business. From an admin standpoint, setting up a new user is pretty easy, and I especially like a newer update of being able to schedule the invitation email in advance. That's very helpful!
We have three office locations with staff working remotely some of the time and calls run smoothly as if everyone was in one place. The RingCentral chat is also very nice, as is the ability to text our clients from within the desktop app.
I recently contacted support in order to cancel some extra RingEX licenses we were not using during our contract renewal period and they made if very easy. It only took one chat session to accomplish exactly what I needed to, and quickly.
We use the RC video very frequently and sometimes record meetings and both are easy to use. I love that you can send a link to a video participant and they do not need to download the program to join a video call. Makes it very easy for them and we rarely have anyone who experiences issues getting into the video call.
Sending faxes is easy and received faxes can easily be forwarded via email to the proper person in our team. Text messages and voicemails can also be easily transferred.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've found that some settings in the admin portal move randomly and become difficult to find. We also have had issues with certain settings within the admin portal changing on their own and that is very frustrating. Luckily this isn't a common issue, but the one we've experienced is incoming calls get routed to a welcome message (which ends up being our voicemail recording) instead of ringing through. It hasn't happened recently, but has happened several times. Maybe this is fixed now, I do not know.

RingEX gives us voice, text, internal messaging, faxing, and video conferencing with just one program/application. That's huge when you already have multiple programs to log into every day! Streamlining communications bother externally and internally is supremely important, especially in a technology driven world.
