Easy User Interface, Periodic Technical Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is user friendly and that employees can use it as a multi-function device. You can call out and receive calls, fax, and text. There is also a video chat option as well as a chat feature within the program called Glip which allows you to communicate with your team easily if they are busy on the line with a customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Periodically, we experience log-on issues, dropped calls, poor reception, or issues where we cannot call out at all. That is a big issue when the phones are ringing constantly and cannot be answered due to technical difficulties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to have all calls directed to every employee who is available on RingCentral, the ability to work remotely without having to have use of an office space, ability to easily transfer customer to proper representative.
Quality desktop application and mobile application
What do you like best about the product?
Mobile app forwarding capabilities. Ability to reuse the same conference logins repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new update requires two screens to open: one for sharing your screen and one for viewing others. Many large corporations block the application due to security threats. This sometimes compels us to use alternative software applications like Skype or GoToMeeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile call forwarding, VM alerts, screen sharing. Face to face web conferencing.
Good Webinar/ Webex platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like Ringcentral because its user friendly and easy to schedule meetings. I mostly use Ringcentral for webex meetings and its pretty simple to use compared to other meeting platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if this is a hardware issue or a ring central issue, but I am never able to use my headphones during my webex meetings. The others on the receiving end can never hear me, I always have to dial in using my phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not use Ringcentral webinars, I use them mostly for Webex meeting.s
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When an issue pops up in Ring Central, there is an option to send the issue to support right from the platform. I have submitted many requests and have not once heard anything back.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use my cell phone for work without having to give my clients/candidates my actual phone number. The convenience of being available all the time is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are a lot of bugs sometimes and not always the best service since it runs off the intnernet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I'm not in the office my clients can still get a hold of me. It's really just overall convenience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think its overall great to have to be able to work from home or while your away from the office. Make sure to keep up with the updates that way you dont run in to issues.
Good for office and field employees
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of using Ring central. It connects the office staff and field staff easily when work phones are not provided. It is easy to search collegeues by their positions and names.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is nice as an app, this can be difficult to reach people all the time. It comes through as a phone call, but if your phone does not have WiFi at all times, it can be difficult to receive these messages. Joining in on a webinar is made simple by sending direct emails that connects you straight to your meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral solves the ever growing problem of not being in two places at once. It lets you join in from anywhere or any time so you do not have miss a beat if you cannot make it to the meeting physically. Telecommunication is the way of the future and Ringcentral is helping us get there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would be nice to use the texting feature to outside clients as well as colleagues.
Best All-In-One VoIP Provider!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the all in one package deal with RingCentral when it comes to their system! Their system has the phone system, the fax system, as well as other add-ons.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few smaller things (such as being able to text your toll-free number) that I'd like to be able to do, right now you can only text the local number for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate across Canada and RingCentral allows us to do so with ease, and by saving money!

RingCentral has everything you need, and then some!
Connection is choppy, but an easy way to set up group meetings!
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral Office has a directory that allows you contact employees within seconds. Meetings are easy to set up and are linked directly to your employer's calendar (in my case, Outlook).
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection on RingCentral calls can be very choppy because it uses Wi-Fi.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picking up the phone results in less miscommunication that you would experience through email or a chat system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your Wi-Fi connection is strong prior to phone calls.
Have only used a few times, but seems to work fine.

Fine call quality once I was able to download the software and dial in
What do you dislike about the product?
I really didn't like that you actually had to download some software prior to dialing into a call. I am accustomed to using Webex, so when I had a call at 10, I dialed in at 10, to find out I needed to download and wait for that to complete, thus causing me and a few other colleagues to be a few minutes late for our meeting. It also doesn't give you a list of all the participants on the call, so you don't know who exactly is speaking, if it's a larger crowd of people you don't yet recognize the voices of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only used the service for when we are having calls with an external agency. It's an alright platform to host calls on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I personally would go for another software that will show a participant list of who all has dialed into the call. I also didn't like that I had to download something prior to the call.
Very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality I like best about RingCentral is the mobile application I can easily use on my iPhone for calls and text messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike about RingCentral is that it doesn't work that great on my Windows desktop. It is really slow and the calls I receive seem to be really delayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest benefits has been the ability to work from anywhere and always have access to set up and join meetings on any device. Since it's a cloud application there isn't a requirement to only use one device, it can be accessed from tablets, mobile phones, and desktops easily.
