Great idea but execution falls short of being a great program.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the video function is built right into the phone service application. The ability for you to view your outlook calendar and contacts is also fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
The application is very buggy compared to the built in web browser app. Video meetings will sometimes freeze up and audio and my microphone will cut out. Sometimes the screen will turn white and freeze up in the middle of a meeting, so you can still communicate in the meeting and hear the users talking to you in the meeting but the screen is a frozen solid white box with no buttons to press to try to refresh the meeting. The only way to resolve it is to close out of the meeting, close out of RingCentral entirely then reopen the program and try to join back into the meeting. And even then there is still a possibility of the meeting freezing up again. This issue is very constant in my company, I've tried turning on the compatibility setting in the settings to resolve the issue, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Meetings still freeze up. The settings are also very convoluted and hard to find, they are hidden behind three layers of menus. The last complaint that I have with RingCentral Video is that audio from sources on a shared screen does not work unless you are running the meeting from a browser, and even then it will only capture the audio from the browser and no other programs on your computer. Very frustrating if you are trying to show a video to your company or department in a meeting. The only solution to a lot of these issues is to run RingCentral Video via the web browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using RingCentral for over 3 months now and have not noticed any attempt to resolve the issues mentioned above. No updates, no solutions even though others have mentioned all the issues on their help desk site.

Ring Central is alright - no the best, not the worst
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to text and call, video conferencing, merging with my calendar seamlessly. The mobile app allows you to make calls on the go and connect with people internally and externally in your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the theory behind Ring Central and the usability/user experience does not align with this program. Often times it will crash for myself and other coworkers, or just won't allow me to make calls from my computer. Thankfully, I am able to use my phone to make calls, but it can be quite frustrating. My job as a recruiter requires that I am on the phone with external clients often, but when RC does not work I am forced to use another app. This is an issue that myself and other coworkers have with this tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to text candidates from my work line and send emojis is a huge personal value add. I love that I do not have to use my personal phone, and can text directly from my computer.
A Decent Messaging and Meeting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Feature for Phone calls and adding files
What do you dislike about the product?
No connectivity with Zoom or Google Calendar
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral is solving problems related to WFH and giving me all the tools necessary for collaboration with team mates and office coworkers while staying at home
Choppy and un-usable
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is encoded and that I can use it during work hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is not easily compatible with other phones. Other people usually do not want to participate in it. Furthermore, once it is connected it does not connect well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of ease of needing a versatile way to engage with my clients from my home. I like that it quickly connects people without worry of encryption issues.
Works well for groups, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
We use RingCentral for our company huddles and meetings, it works well without any major issues and is easier to use than Zoom even because users can join meetings from within their browser itself without having to get the application itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular I dislike about RingCentral, it works well and is fine to use for professional meetings, private meeting rooms, group meetings, and recording one's screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral helps our multiple departments and teams meet in one meeting room for our thrice weekly huddles to go over our content reviews. It allows the host the easily control the meeting and employees to join meetings using a simple link from either their work or personal laptops.
good application for contact centre

In my company, we are using this application only for contact number purpose

sometimes call gets disconnected without knowing the proper error code

people from overall geographics can connect..so it helps us to get our meetings go smoothly
Ring Central keeps business communications straightforward.
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily get started straight away thanks to Ring Central's user-friendly style. Before the phone system was operational, the entire process took between 30 and 40 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can use Ring Central to answer calls from my PC, mobile device, or place of employment, but occasionally I experience issues with notifications. There are times when I don't get a call or message notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Throughout the company communication We decided on another option that pulled a bait-and-switch on us at the last minute when it was time to renew our licences. We decided to take a chance on RingCentral, and before our licence with their predecessor had run out, they had us set up, trained, and using their system.
