How easy is it, to hit the APIs from Pstman
What do you like best about the product?
The features postman gives to modify everything according to your choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing more to say, but the response time limit should be customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing of all the APIs in local before directly going to the server. Testing of the response before deploying. Management of data in response accordingly. Its a helpful tool in the daily life of a backend developer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a lite and easy to use software.
Excellent for the API test
What do you like best about the product?
Postman really simplify the APIs testing. We just have to enter a URL, select the type of query and write the query.
On the internet there are many documents as "How to make GET Request in Postman?". This is very useful !
The last advantage is that the free version of Postman is great!

What do you dislike about the product?
Handling the software is not so obvious. I spent a lot of time to explore the different features by trying all features. After this period of adaptation, it is a pleasure to test our APIs with this software !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman made us more efficient. We spend less time testing the API. He also made the API test simpler.

-- Postman is very helpful application to have Request and Response result for API verification.

What do you dislike about the product?
-- Should support more code view converter framework. Also all generated code is not executable.
-- Not able to execute multiple API at the same time or interlinked API with single run
-- There should be a proper message details if there is no server found.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-- Sending Web service Request in various method support like GET, POST ,PUT, DELETE, OPTION helps to find all the related response in a ease way.
-- There is a good feature called Runner which runs the collection and generates the result of each passed and failed APIs so that no need to run all the similar APIs all the time manually.

Easy tool to test APIs
What do you like best about the product?
I can able to easily and quickly test APIs that I have develop and some other open APIs. I really like the UI and the application available on desktop and chrome extension.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better if it is easily support for SOAP APIs as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using postman for API testing. It is really useful when we do technical support for our software solutions.
Real time results for API endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to test endpoints and get realtime outcomes and results displayed within the window

Unfortunately the chrome extension is being depreciated which has been useful in testing and coding in web environments

Developers and testers are able to get realtime feedback on the result of endpoints, and ensures that we can develop quicker and not have to rework the results.
Great Platform for Developing and Testing APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Some software has only capability of Requesting or only Receiving APIs Responses. But Postman has both capabilities of requesting and receiving API response. Postman gives exact and precise details about mistakes in developed APIs. User Interface of Postman is very user friendly. Postman is available for multiple platforms like Windows, Mac, Ubuntu, etc. One can collect all his data at one place in his/her respective account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman uses a lot bunch of RAM and other resources of computer system. Also sometimes performance vise it is being very slow and doing poor performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to be moderate between mobile team and web team while doing work and for each and every instance I can't disturb API developer to test and give me results according to different parameters. Postman does all the work for me very easily and precisely.

- It doesn't manage long history unless you buy software.

-- Back end code generated by the Postman is not accurate and easily executable in each case.

All Web Service requests like GET , POST , PUT , DELETE , OPTIONS can easily be tracked in postman.

Simple to use API Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Clean UI, ability to save workspaces as postman collections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration plans are expensive. I wasn't able to try out the feature. It would be awesome to have a trial plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of APIs, API testing, sharing APIs and docs with team mates etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is a very simple to use API doc and API testing tool. Highly recommended. I have used Claw and Insomnia in the past, but Postman is the best.

Since the tool operates on such high complexity therefore it can sometime cause performance issues on a low end machine. this can make it a bit sluggish and slow.
Sending multidimensional arrays can also become problem as you have to manually enter each level despite it having the same structure.

Currently I am using postman for Api development and testing. It works very well for back end development and testing. This also helps other members of the team to understand your work.
