What do you like best about the product?
Postman makes API development and testing infinitely simpler by bringing the full API lifecycle into one unified platform — from designing and mocking APIs to testing, documenting, collaborating and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with large collections or API responses, Postman tends to get sluggish — sometimes laggy or resource heavy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It also solves the challenge of frontend–backend dependency. Using Postman mock servers, our frontend team can work in parallel even when backend endpoints are not ready — which keeps our development cycles moving and eliminates blockers.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Postman's clean interface incredibly helpful, as it aids in making API testing and debugging much faster and more efficient. The dynamic options it offers for updating parameters also streamline the process, making API development and testing significantly easier for me. I particularly appreciate the feature that allows me to generate dynamic authentication tokens, as it enhances my understanding and debugging capabilities, leading to quicker development cycles. The ease of the initial setup is another aspect I enjoy, as it required minimal effort to get Postman up and running. Overall, these features collectively contribute to a smoother and more effective workflow, allowing me to manage tasks with greater efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Postman should be enhanced to better support larger projects, especially those that are quite heavy.

I use Postman to streamline API testing and debugging with its clean interface and dynamic options, significantly speeding up API development and enhancing my understanding and productivity.

I deeply appreciate Postman’s simplicity and speed, which allows me to test and validate APIs quickly without the hassle of extensive setup. Its ability to send requests, tweak inputs, and see results instantly is incredibly valuable to me. The toolstreamlines my API testing with quick request validation, saving my test collections for easy reuse, and automating tests. I also love how Postman enhances collaboration within my team by sharing collections, environments, and documents. This feature ensures everyone is working with the same resources, maintaining consistency across the board. Additionally, the instant synchronization when requests or scripts are updated avoids confusion and speeds up onboarding for new team members. The integration capabilities of Postman are fantastic, as it works seamlessly with GitHub, Jenkins, and Swagger, facilitating the pulling of API docs, triggering automated tests, and syncing collections for version control. The initial setup was very straightforward and quick, enabling me to download it, create a workspace, and start sending requests within just a minute.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Postman can become slow when handling large collections, which hampers efficiency. Furthermore, version conflicts can be perplexing when multiple users update the same workspace simultaneously. Debugging scripts in Postman could also be improved; it lacks advanced debugging features such as breakpoints or step-by-step execution, forcing me to rely mainly on console logs which isn’t always ideal.

What do you like best about the product?
I like about Postman is how simple it is to work with. It is easy to use even when you are dealing with complex API setups. Getting started was straightforward , so the implementation never felt like a hassle. I use it almost daily and the wide range of features like collections, environments and automated test really helps keep my workflow organised. It also integrates smoothly with other tools which makes collaboration and version control much easier. Whenever i have needed help customer support and the docs have been reliable enough to get me through issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
If i had to point out something the app can slow down a bit when i working with large collections and the desktop version sometimes feels heavy on system resources.

Postman makes API testing organised and efficient. It saves a ton of time by helping me debug quickly automate repetitive tests, and keep everything in one place, which ultimately seeds up development and reduces errors.

I also value how Postman allows me to manage multiple environments within my projects and handle authentication seamlessly. I rely on Postman for both my professional and personal tasks on a daily basis. Additionally, Postman has a straightforward setup process, making it easy to configure environments, APIs, and other components. Integration with CI/CD pipelines and Git is also simple for users. Also the customer support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, when I am running a large number of tests or handling an extensive collection, the app tends to slow down, which I find inconvenient during my work. Additionally, syncing across devices is not always seamless, as I often have to reload the app each time to ensure everything is up to date.

Postman addresses the challenges of configuring, documenting, and testing APIs in a structured and systematic manner. As a QA engineer, I rely on Postman daily to test APIs, and it streamlines my workflow by allowing me to manage APIs without needing to switch between different tools or write additional code manually. This not only saves me time but also reduces the likelihood of errors and makes collaboration with my team smooth and efficient. Additionally, Postman's workflows and collection runner enable me to simulate complete API sequences, test edge cases, and identify bugs with ease.

What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop application can sometimes use more memory than ideal, which impacts performance. Additionally, several advanced collaboration capabilities are only available on higher-priced plans, making them less accessible for smaller teams

It takes a bit of time to fully grasp all the different features it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my previous organization, I used Postman as a tool to test our APIs. Also, the ease at which we can do the testing like using collections of APIs, also several new features are being introduced which is making Postman a comprehensive API Management Platform, where you can not just test APIs, but also create,manage,test and add security in APIs.

Too much options; difficult to do some tasks without creating an account and is a licensed software
