Great tool for getting quick analytics insights - easy developer setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use. From a developer perspective, it's super quick and easy to get set up, and the SDK API is very simple. I feel like you can get up and running in just a few minutes.
I've used some of the chart features, and they're quite nice, even though it can be a bit more complex.
The experiments are good and I use them regularly.

What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier doesn't include feature experiments, which is a blocker for me on some of my personal and client projects. I opt for other tools in that case, since they offer free feature experiments out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behaviour, not just globally but also deeply segmented into various cohorts. SInce our application has a wide variety of user personas, it's good to be able to view the data different lenses and get more meaningful insights.
Powerful, but with a steep learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out the most is its remarkable ability to answer complex questions about user behavior, something that few other tools manage to do as effectively. We are able to conduct deep and precise analyses of user journeys, and creating funnels and retention analyses is very straightforward. Additionally, despite the platform's depth and richness of features, its interface remains intuitive and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The conceptual learning curve is fairly steep, and the depth of insights you gain relies greatly on the specific events you implement and the properties you track. For teams used to working with a marketing metrics framework, adapting to a product analysis approach that centers on particular user actions can be challenging. Additionally, while there are some features related to marketing attribution, this tool is not best suited for that purpose. Its primary design is to help you understand user behavior within the product, rather than to optimize advertising spend or pinpoint which campaign achieved the highest ROI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics addresses the fundamental challenge of understanding in-depth user behavior within a product, offering insights that go well beyond standard marketing metrics.
This has benefited us in several important ways. First, it gives us detailed visibility into user journeys. We are able to closely examine the paths users follow, set up funnels to pinpoint where they drop off, and generate retention charts that reveal patterns of long-term engagement.
Second, Amplitude enables us to answer complex 'why' questions. Rather than simply showing us what happened, it helps us uncover the reasons behind user actions by analyzing their specific behaviors and attributes.
Finally, it empowers our team by allowing product managers and designers to independently explore and answer their own questions. This reduces our reliance on data analysts and helps speed up the product development process.

Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Amplitude Analytics connects data seamlessly and makes it easy to understand complex user behavior through clear, intuitive visuals. The visual dashboards and charts simplify analysis and help uncover insights quickly, making decision-making much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform can feel a bit overwhelming because of the many features and options available. It takes a little time to get fully comfortable navigating everything, but once you do, it’s very powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps me turn raw data into actionable insights by clearly showing user behavior trends and product performance. This makes it easier to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and make data-driven decisions with confidence.
Godsend for marketers looking to track impact
What do you like best about the product?
Upsides include being able to track impact across various marketing channels, like in app messages, push notifications, and EDMA
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite satisfied, maybe it could be easier to create reports

Marketing impact
Very easy to use, don't need to know the technical side of SQL
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Amplitude Analytics is that you don't need to be an expert in SQL—in fact, you don't need any knowledge of SQL at all to start creating charts and dashboards. This is impressive because it empowers an average user to function like a data analyst expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Amplitude Analytics isn't really related to using the tool itself, but rather to the tutorials available online. Many of these tutorials don't keep up with the visual updates of the tool. Some how-to videos, for example, explain steps using a much older version of Amplitude Analytics, which can make it confusing to follow along.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps me understand the user flow on a website and provides insights into why users are leaving at certain points in the flow.
Great opportunity to leverage the business
What do you like best about the product?
We use amplitude to enable business analysis. A good part of the results achieved online are reproduced by amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no negative points to bring up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use amplitude to monitor our WhatsApp channel, so we can map, identify improvements, and measure results.
Loving the flexibility of finding customer behaviour data patterns via Amplitude.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Amplitude is well equipped to provide ways for the team to self-serve analytical information, and gives me a way to access customer behaviour information that we never had before, as we only collect transactional data.
Amplitude also provides highly customizable filtering and grouping that allows us to really hone in on what we need, and I appreciate the ability to do smart trend predictions, comparisons to previous time periods, and a ton of chart options that I wouldn't have considered before to display information.
I also always appreciate when there is many opportunities provided to learn more via office hours and talks; it's helpful to know how other people are using Amplitude, and learn from their questions.
I also onboarded quickly via Amplitude library resources, which were well set up for me to get myself started on making my own dashboards.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find the folder system, saving files, and moving files to be cumbersome and frustrating. I also find the report functionality does not allow great presentation design, and thus I don't bother to use it, preferring only to display charts one at a time for my team. I also am not a fan of how when you download an image, it removes the large metric numbers from above the chart; I end up instead taking screenshots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How do customers enter our product? When do they leave? How long are they in a session for? Where did they originate from? How long does it take a customer to perform a particular action? What is the conversion rate of a new user to a paying customer?
Easier to customize than GA
What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-create charts and dashboards are my favorite. I especially like that you can easily share versions of reports with live edits to get help with questions or share insights you want to collaborate on, before you're ready to share with a wider audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to pay attention to the dates you use in multiple places, such as the cohort date reference vs the dates of the chart vs. the timeframe within which any of the chart actions take place. Once you get the hang of it, it is less challenging but for onboarding it isn't always intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand our user flow and look for opportunities to optimize acquisitions to achieve more efficient CPAs alongside higher LTV.
Unlocking Clarity with Data: A Game-Changer for Daily Decision-Making
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes my day-to-day so much easier! I love how quickly I can check conversion rates, see PDP visits, and build comparison charts without getting lost in complicated setups. The visualizations are super intuitive and actually make analytics fun.
On top of that, the ease of implementation was smoother than I expected, and the integrations with other tools I use daily make it a natural part of my workflow. I literally use it every single day, and the insights have become part of how I think about user behavior. Whenever I had questions, their customer support team was responsive and genuinely helpful — a huge plus.

What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming. It really helps to have an introduction from a colleague or someone experienced with the tool to unlock its full potential more quickly. Once you’re over that initial learning curve, it’s amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me track the full user journey — from PDP visits to conversion rates — all in one place. It saves me hours of manual reporting, gives me clear visual insights, and makes it easier to spot opportunities and act fast. The result: quicker decisions, smarter strategies, and more confidence every day.
Powerful Product Analytics Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it very easy to explore user behavior, build funnels, and visualize retention without needing constant SQL queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes dashboards feel slow with large datasets, and advanced features can take time to learn.
