Amplitude transformed my way of working
What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude daily.Whatever data question I have, I can easily go into Amplitude and answer it by myself. No need usually to depend on others or wait for analysts to write a query. Interfaces are user friendly and easy to grasp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe more in-app tool tips that help me explore the tool and it's capabilites further. I am very stuck in my ways, and only discover new things by accident.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to access the data I need to analyze customer behavior by myself. Also running all our A/B tests via Amplitude.

What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards and event management are good, it is also very flexible to operate event properties and have smart alerts
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several things that would be very helpful for cohort analysis and funnel analytics:
- There are only step to step conversions over time, sometimes it is not very efficient to locate drops in such way - you have either to copypaste data to google sheets either to download, given the fact above integration with Google Sheets or posibility to add table below the plot to dashboars would be very handy
- Also data tables calculate events in total and groupping events in funnel style for every day is not availabel - you can only aggregate by periods and compare the corresponding day timing on one week to the same day on other week, what do I indeed need is to have possibility to build funnel like tables for each day in period separately

- I use amplitude for multiple purposes - from A/B testing to daily metrics checks and drop investigations
Best tool for understanding user/product data
What do you like best about the product?
They make it so easy to see key views on product metrics. Our team uses the Segmentation and Funnel charts constantly, and occasionally some of the other ones. Funnels are especially great and have many advanced settings to get the perfect view. We love how easy it is for other less technical team members to adjust/manipulate charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, we've had very negative experiences on the customer support/sales side. It seems Amplitude knows that our data is stuck in their platform and we are unlikely to migrate elsewhere, so they offer absolutely no help. We were attempting to purchase an upgrade feature, "Accounts Add-on", and received zero help in the implementation. We were forced to spend weeks building a workaround due to a limitation that does not let existing projects add an "Accounts" field to historical data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding how many active users we have for each feature and product, and understanding funnels, conversion rates, and retention rates for various segments over time.
Complete tracking points but limited functions
What do you like best about the product?
It tracks basically everything real time, fast and complete, I can always come and cross check my numbers
What do you dislike about the product?
Many analysis are formated, and limited, it didn't allow enough freedom to build customized report,sometimes it includes a lot of unneccesary info, but useful info cannot be added.

Reliable & user friendly tool to quickly get intuition about the data
What do you like best about the product?
Can be used across the company by any staleholder even non-tech savy users. Enable data analysts/data scientists to focus on more complex analysis as product managers are autonomous with this tool. User path chart really helpful to identify drop out point.,
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitation for more complex analysis (machine learning, business oriented analysis, player data...)

Onboarding conversion rate, retention drop of, tracking bugs...

It helps people like me who cant code on their own to access data and visualize it in a easy manner. Its very easy to do the "try and error" tactic and if you have an understanding of your product this helps a lot with getting the correct results.

Due to the size of data we use as a base it sometimes gets a little slow or unsmooth in its interface.

It helps us identifying possible problems in our product and then also dive deep to really figure out the problem beneath that.

Sometimes it takes a while to make a connection and download the corresponding data.

I can quickly and constantly review the main events triggered from the app, which give me visibility in terms of users, totals, etc.

It might be challenging to monitor events and attributes if users do not adhere to standard practices from the beginning. Although Amplitude's ability to integrate with various platforms and frameworks is commendable, the effectiveness of its usage for tracking ultimately relies on the technological infrastructure and coding of the firm implementing it.

Easy to track customer usage as a CSM
What do you like best about the product?
As a CSM I use Amplitude every day to track a few things:
- The product usage of my book of business - Amplitude makes this quite easy with the dashboards, I can have multiple charts for all my customers to track their usage. It's easy to manage and also create for each one.
- Automation with hubspot is also really useful, the ability to track events and assign to users on hubspot, plus creating cohorts which can then be used as part of workflows.

The cost of using multiple cohorts or tracking multiple events, it's definitely something to consider especially as a smaller business.
