The diverse functionality and the quick responses to all my support tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us gauge general user engagement with our product. It easily visualizes drop-off points, ways to increase conversion, and correlations between different events.
Powerful analytics tool that drives data-backed decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude helps me understand user behavior at a granular level — from campaign acquisition to retention. I like how easily I can identify which marketing channels and user actions contribute most to conversions and revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a bit of a learning curve in setting up events and dashboards initially. Structuring data correctly is crucial, and it can take time to fully leverage all the advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand user behavior from acquisition to conversion. It allows us to identify which campaigns, audiences, and actions drive the highest engagement and revenue. This visibility has improved our campaign optimization and overall marketing efficiency.
A robust tool that can answer many questions about your users behavior
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is our primary platform for website marketing analytics, providing us with critical insights into traffic attribution, conversion rates, and the entire user journey. The platform's flexibility allows us to seamlessly shift between a high-level view and granular detail, helping us understand why users convert (or don't) from the very first touchpoint. I particularly value the Funnel feature and the extensive filtering options, which enable precise reporting. It’s an effective daily tool for tracking our website's performance, and the support team has been consistently helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
While initial setup requires someone knowledgeable, as the platform can be a bit overwhelming at first, the marketing analytics are quite robust. However, it's clear that the system is primarily built to serve the product side, which means distinguishing product and website analytics can require some extra effort. Furthermore, some out-of-the-box events may fire incorrectly. To be honest, I don't always fully trust the data: I've observed discrepancies when using different filters or groupings that should theoretically yield the same information. However, I am hopeful that they will refine the platform, as it's really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Answering the question of what our website visitors do or don't do before, if, they convert.
Great for Deep Analytics, But Takes Time to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of it, Amplitude is really powerful for understanding user behavior. It's perfect when you need to dig deep into how users interact with your app. The segmentation features are excellent - you can slice and dice your user data in so many ways to find patterns and insights. For complex analyses, it's exactly what we need. But very complicated to navigate - requires a lot of learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely not the most intuitive tool. Even checking simple things like basic user behavior requires going through several steps, which can be frustrating when you just want a quick answer. There's a lot to learn before you can use it efficiently, and it can feel overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude to track and understand how users navigate our app and what actions they take. The detailed insights help us make better product decisions based on actual user behavior rather than guessing. It's particularly useful for identifying which features work well and where users might be getting stuck.
Delightful Experience Using Amplitude as a First Time User
What do you like best about the product?
As a data analyst trying out Amplitude for the first time, I was genuinely impressed by how straightforward it was to access analytics and set up dashboards on the platform. The Ask Amplitude feature, which lets you create charts using plain text, was an added bonus. I often rely on Ask Amplitude to help plan my event taxonomy and to lay out the basic structure for most of my charts. The community on slack is super helpful for connecting with other amplitude users and discussing doubts or how to's.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more personalization options for charts to match them with company branding and colors, making it more useful in presentations and client facing documents. Additionally, more visualization options would also be very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is helping us move from raw event data to actionable behavioral insights. Before using it, we had fragmented visibility into how users were interacting with key features in our app. The biggest benefit has been speed and clarity in decision-making, product and marketing teams can self-serve analysis on user funnels, retention, and experiment impact without needing engineering support.
Great for digital marketing!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friendly and gives a comprehensive overview of large sets of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can't pull in all the data I want into a single chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows us the number of page views and unique page views each user sees.

Good Platform to Understand User Behavior at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has been a huge help in driving growth for us. I can easily see which campaigns are bringing in which type of users, and then build cohorts based on their behavior and journey. It’s great for tracking user activities, engagement levels, and metrics like MAU and DAU. Having all of this in one place makes it much easier to understand what’s working and where we need to improve
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I notice some data discrepancies compared to what we see in marketing channels like Facebook and Google. It’s not a deal breaker, but it does require extra cross-checking to be fully confident in the numbers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps us solve the challenge of understanding user behavior across different touchpoints. By giving us a clear view of which campaigns drive which types of users, and how those users engage over time, it’s become an essential tool for optimizing our growth strategy. We can build precise cohorts, track engagement metrics like DAU and MAU, and identify friction points in the user journey, all at a place. This level of insight has made it much easier to make data driven decision, improve retention, and finetune my marketing efforts.
Great tool for exploring data naturally, but search and segmentation could be better
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Ask Amplitude. It’s super helpful that I can just type a question in plain language and get the answer back without setting up complicated queries. It also lets me pull in different types of events and quickly turn them into charts, so I can explore things from multiple angles without much effort. Overall, it’s a pretty comprehensive tool and makes it easier to understand what users are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could segment data by screen size, it’s something I really wanted to do, a simple but essential filter but it’s not possible right now. Also, the search could be smarter. For instance, when I’m trying to find a breakdown by region or search for something specific, it doesn’t always bring up the right results or make it obvious where to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand how people are actually interacting with what I design, what actions they take next, and how different groups behave to make those nuanced decisions while designing. It helps to quickly spot friction points, measure if changes are working, and also makes it easier to turn usage data into insights we can act on using Ask Amplitude.
