Impressive Customer Support

What do you like best about the product?
Customer support has been A1 on every occasion. They get on the ball, solve it, and give you great additional information. All that while being genuine and friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Ampltude is still growing, so yeah there are some limits to the platform, but overall it's a very great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated dashboards for stakeholders is our main use. Some ad hoc stuff too, although half the time we use sql and python coding to get those results.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. I love the different views you have to read the data. The user "look-up" function is very useful for me. The standard user journey from product discovery to purchase is very complicated and it's more attractive to see it with amplitude. I very often use the funnel function too. I think it's the best functionnality of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it could be complicated to mix user property and event property... I also I have a little problem when I switched from Zendesk connect to Braze, when I discovered that if I want my cohort to be automated to Braze it was a premium option...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know my app user behaviors better. In this way, my A/B test have a real meaning and I can take real business decision with analytics. Also the fact that I can connect amplitude with Zendesk, Braze is a perfect way for me to handle crm management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think you can choose amplitude without a problem if you want a simple solution for reading data that may seem complex at first. Make a funnel, follow the behavior of a single user, identify friction points on our app, follow ab tests, everything is possible. This is my first analytics tool and I know I would have a hard time switching to another tool right now. The use of the API is simple and allows management of events with all third parties very simplified.

Amazing easy-to-use analytics platform

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent tool for monitoring events and errors that facilitates product analysis, including detailed measurements. I like that it has several templates and graphs with which it is possible to represent all the information and data. It is a software for data analysis, easy to use that provides a variety of tools to segment the data, it is simple to manage the information and do all the work. With Amplitude, I can get information and insights in seconds, and it also has a clean and easy-to-use user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no major complaint with Amplitude, in general the user interface is quite simple. The user interface is not very user friendly and the graphics are not very customizable, I wish there were more instructions or even illustrations for users to handle the breadth easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude has really been a practical tool, as a tool it has allowed me to quickly determine who are the activated users, the advanced users, the embedded users. It facilitates project management in all aspects, from delving into a user to solve problems to telling a story with analytical images and comments, it has allowed us to obtain information about the functions that our clients use the most and visualize their journey through the application to plot and quantify the entire user journey.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love this software as it is the best product I have used for reporting, it is very powerful and completely ideal for designing. It is one of the best programs I have ever tried!

What do you like best about the product?
The Review is based on my experience working with the Client Service (Platform) team. Tracy, who I worked with this time from the platform team was professional and helpful. I recently took over the Amplitude project at my company and was not very familiar with how it was set up. Tracy always responded to my emails in a timely manner with easy to follow steps, suggested documentation links, and additional insights if she has any. She knows the ins and outs of the product. There were a few times when she had to confirm with internal engineers, she circled back to be the next day or two.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any negative experience with the teams I worked with so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redshift ETL plugin, Amplitude Analytics UI, and AWS S3 data destination setup

What do you like best about the product?
- Easily set up Amplitude via Segment
- Can debug the setup and user profile at ease via user lookup feature
- Formula is a very handy feature to build calculated metrics
- An essential tool to track and analyse leading metrics on top of lagging metrics in other BI software.
- Good for tracking and analysing key metrics as well as experiments and A/B testings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that a new URL is generated whenever I edit an existing chart. There is no analysis mode where I can just quickly change the visualisation type, timeframe other setting without having a new URL generated and saved in my workspace. This clutters my workspace a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Track, identify and analyse winner for any experiment and A/B testing
- Identify what is driving growth for the startup

My Experience with Amplitude

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very simple tool. Doesn't need hands-on training to use the tool. Even a new person can quickly and easily understand and work with the tool. Personally, amplitude has helped our team a lot with the new product. All their features like funnels, user segmentation, cohorts have helped us understand our users better. How when a new version of our product goes out it automatically creates release notes and shows me the new events that were part of this new release. It becomes easier for me to add on to the release if something is missing. Amplitude is made our life easier for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if I could easily switch between 'conversion' & 'conversion over time' easily from the dashboard instead of having to open the funnel. It's very important for me and my team to have an eye on the funnel every day to make sure everything in our system is in place. Apart from other systems that help us know if everything is working fine, checking amplitude charts help us totally validate everything.
To add on when I have to make changes to existing funnels, it takes time to load these and edit and save them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude analytics to understand our user behavior. What are most people doing on our app? How many people are enjoying our services on the app and how many are dropping off? We are a data-driven company. Any changes we make on our app is backed by data. Amplitude plays a huge role for us to understand how our users like our features on the app and have improvements in the app have affected our user behavior.

Please try using Amplitude it's amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to use funnels which gives us a deep understanding of our user behaviour. Another very powerful feature that we really like is the HTTP API which solved a lot of our tracking issues, right now we track a user from sing up onwards, even if they have an AD blocker, we get stats which is hard to get via other tool like Google Analytics. Ability to have more than one team and more than one dashboard is another feature that we like, which gives each team have the freedom and control on what they want to track. The generous event limitation is also another thing we like and appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high price tag to upgrade, I think you should have a more reasonable packages to pick from, especially with team with little budget and in early growth and integration state. I would love to be able for example to purchase some features that will elevate my experience, without the need to purchase a hefty package to unlock some of those features. Also the new released feature with destinations does not include enough destinations and does not explain if new ones are coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behaviour, tracking backend events and connecting frontend and backend actions via user id. The flexibility the Amplitude has gave us better understanding on what our needs and we were able to break down the events and data further and create more charts and funnels, thus able to segment our users further.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would really recommend using Amplitude, it makes a life of a Product Manager easier once the correct events, funnels and charts are implemented.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the exploratory analysis in Amplitude, and the low learning barrier for quickly creating charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my main use cases for Amplitude is understanding certain user flows. It'd be great if your dashboards could be easier to parameterize (like i want all my charts to filter on this one user id).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the internal company tool I work on, I get a lot of clarity on which features I should focus on, and which I should ignore. So in a word: user impact.

Powerful tool to uncover what users are doing in your product

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it really easy for developers to add metrics in to an app in a few lines of code. While at the same time, the powerful charting capabilities make it easy for product owners to build and tweak their own reports to gain insights to how the app is used. There's even a generous free tier so you can get started straight away and try it out in your own app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to creating charts but overall the UI is quite straight forward. When you try to dive a bit deeper in to the data (e.g. custom functions, exports, etc) there is still some room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude has allowed us to gain insights in to what features our customers are using the most and to visualise their journey through the app.

Easy way to track data

What do you like best about the product?
There are many customized settings that you can set up based on your needs. Personally I like funnel the best, because it provides the average time information. Generally, I think the graphs are very helpful, easy to read and can be transferred to different types of graphs. Although I haven't used the premium feature because we haven't paid for it, I say persona could be my favorite feature if I try it someday.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most helpful features are not free, like persona, user cohort, path finder. Also, it was a bit difficult for me to understand how to use Amplitude. I read the guide of amplitude so many times and not even sure I understand thoroughly. I wish there are more instructions or even with illustrations for users to handle amplitude easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track the user journey of each individual. Also, the funnel feature is very handy. I like to set up many funnels to see how users convert.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many useful features like the funnel, stickness and user segmentation. If you are willing to pay a little more, you can even acquire the best feature like persona, user cohort, etc. I think those are very helpful to user researchers, data analysts and project managers.
