Amplitude Analytics a great help in project planning.
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics has an innovative and modern design, which allows its use more pleasantly, in addition to providing complementary and quite diverse tools. I think it has been a fundamental basis for us as a company and it has helped us a lot. On the other hand, I must add that I like the proportions and the ease of customizing events and create several projects without any obstacle. It is quite useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite having incredible features, it presents some small difficulties, I do not like that its use is a bit complicated, it does not present the necessary instructions to start using it, even several colleagues at work cost them a lot to start updating their data on the business projects and events; due to the same inconveniences. The software is very complete but if that error were improved, it would all be much easier and faster to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has given me great benefits in my marketing work in my company, it has been quite useful. It has facilitated the organization and planning of important business events and projects for business relationships. It has made our work much easier and lighter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an incredible software, its use provides an incredible utility to your company, it will help in many aspects, I recommend it so that you feel more confident in your work with respect to planning. Although at the beginning it can be a bit complicated to use, I recommend not letting that overcome the desire to progress, improve and keep growing with your company.

An excellent tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is a quite complete and very diverse software. I consider it a tool that has helped me a lot. In particular, the ability to customize events and segment channels.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is an application that is very helpful and very complete, it's biggest flaw is how complicated it is to learn to use it, which is a factor that plays against because the user loses interest due to how complicated it is. There are many elements that appear at the beginning of the session and it looks really complicated, it cost me a lot to learn how to use the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performing basic analysis with Amplitude became a very easy task. As well as it allows us to easily track any event.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you learn to use it, it will be a great help tool, it helps a lot to grow professionally due to the professionalism of the software.
It's worth knowing the software do not get carried away by how complicated it may look at first.

How I can have a question about usage of our product and get immediate data.
What do you dislike about the product?
How charts in the dashboard get smushed so I have to open in a new tab to see the full x and y axis that I want.

Business problems: measuring usage of our product with customers and trial users. + Measuring performance of marketing campaigns.
Benefits: Finding answers to problems quickly by pulling charts. Making data-backed decisions rather than relying on gut and trial-and-error.

Give it a shot and at least ask for a demo / pilot.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly and easy to understand even for those with not much knowledge. Interface is nice looking too and the different charts are really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
No capabilities to group numbers. We can group daily/monthly/yearly but we cannot aggregate the data altogether so something it's hard to have a real overview of everything.

Insights that influence marketing decisions.
We've just started using Amplitude to track user events and it makes the job really well!

Inability to create and utilize custom scripted values. Poorer search / ad-hoc analysis compared to Kibana.

The best thing about Amplitude analytics is - it's applicable to Small, Medium & Large industry. Additionally the real time reporting is flawless.

The price is bit steep for small scale industry.

I love the way my analytics appear.. beautiful charts!
I love the fact that I can track users and not only sessions.
The tool is very intuitive and well documented, tons of white paper to help use the product the right way

It took me some time to understand the nuances when I was using some event attributes vs user attributes... not so easy at first !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
quickly track users activity and product adoption in a few sec. Finally analytics look great !
Really competitive analytics product for product people. Helps if you are an experienced analyst.
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude continuously offers new and innovative data views that any analyst would appreciate. They go much farther than the data exploration / distribution charts / event logs you're going to see in Mixpanel or Heap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic functionality is very competitively priced, all of their really interesting tools are hidden behind very expensive enterprise sales packages, even for relatively small companies with small data requirements. Would love to use compass or pathfinder now on a mid-tier plan, but there are no plans "in the middle".

Covers basic analytics needs for a small startup really, really well.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is 100% what I recommend to just about anyone trying to do usage tracking. They head/shoulders better than MixPanel/Kissmetrics and are even free for a ton of usage. As close to a no-brainer as it gets.
You can clearly see that their technology is much more advanced than their competitors. More things are possible and charts render quickly.

I still find the new 2017 UI pretty confusing. I don't love how dashboards are laid out. It's confusing to me what is shared and what isn't.

AB tests. Usage analytics. Funnel analysis.
