Heap helps me see what my users are up to and what they need!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can dig deep into what parts of my application are helping users and what areas may need work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seem to be inconsistencies in the data that comes from funnels, which is concerning when we're trying to track users through multiple stages. I hope this gets some attention in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to track our users' movements and see drop-off rates in feature adoption has been very helpful.

Easy to investigate user's event
What do you like best about the product?
The filter criteria depending on the events performed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. The only thing sometimes makes it hard as if I have a search criteria for an event with in 30 days, it would include the results which doesn't have those events occurred with in that time period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in Quality Assurance and work closely with support. As people report issues, I need to reproduce those issues in our environment and sometimes we don't know what actions users did to get that issue.
An Absolute Must For Data Driven Product & Marketing Team.

- Ease of use. New UI is Amazing.
- Retroactive data is a blessing.

What do you dislike about the product?
- It takes a portion of total traffic (because of ad-blockers and other external factors). It would be cool if they can find a way to capture that traffic/interaction as well.

If you are someone who loves data over intuition for decision making, you need Heap. You will not regret it. Trust me :)

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Heap analytics for a few years now. I started using it with my first business, and it was my number one analytics tool. Heap allows us to analyse user behaviour and what steps they take, and where they drop off, allowing us to improve on these steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to see recordings of people using the website for example on Hotjar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am always able to make real time changes to my website thanks to heaps analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Heap is how quick and easy it is to define events and get to analyzing the data. On top of this, the fact that the Event Visualizer has all historical data is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Event Visualizer can be a bit finicky and can require in-depth knowledge of the html/css on the page you are trying to define an event on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Heap solves for me is in allowing me to see what the most used functions are within a particular feature. On the flip side, it also shows me the least use functions. From here, I can optimize for the most used functions to ensure the best UX for my product as possible.

Doesn't have insights and doesn't understand your site/e-commerce. The setup takes some time.

It's a good analytics tool because it's flexible and provides historic information, useful for the moment you need to measure the impact of something new.

What do you like best about the product?
There is not much of a learning curve to be able to use the tool. I like how new features like paths are highlighted and explained. Heap support is also very responsive and helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is some data that doesn't make sense and even if it's our fault for defining something incorrectly, there isn't always an easy way to debug it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap helps us track user activation and retention and what actions successful users take in order for us to improve our product.

How visual and organized is Heap is the best. Also, very easy to integrate your platform and get all the data you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really dislike anything. You need to get used to use Heap. The rest will all be easy and smooth.

I can see how our platform is growing and what are our strengths and weaknesses. I make better decisions based on Heap.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time learning all the options that Heap offers. It will give you and your company valuable information and you’ll be able to automate tons of things.

I like that HEAP gives good metrics on general usage

We have had trouble installing HEAP. The customer support has been minimally helpful. HEAP does not offer session level metrics, or session time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to use it for session time, and cannot. We wanted to use it for activity monitoring and cannot.
How a one man growth guy leverages Heap
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to create funnels that are grouped by UTM to understand how users perform throughout their journey. It also helps me understand which campaigns are working effectively, and which should be turned off. The funnel features are definitely the ones I'm using most frequently right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels a bit outdated and could use a bit more thoughtfulness. It's not difficult to navigate, but it's a bit uninspiring.

Customer acquisition problems. It helps understand which parts of the journey are strong, and which needs work. If you're a new startup, and are just getting analytics set up, you'll uncover a lot of problems that you thought you had – but now you'll have data to support those instincts.
