What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can look at funnel metrics and that it is easily integrated with our site. I also like the ability to create my own events using the event visualizer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how things are organized. I think it's tough to find my reporting. I also don't like how the new visuals look now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems im solving is understanding where the conversion drop-of is within the sign-up flow. I can understand what page is doing the best/worst in converting members.

Great Product - Not That Intuitive, Though

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can layer on different types of segments (behavioral, acquisition source, etc.) over a funnel to really see how different types of users interact with our product and funnel. This has resulted in numerous specific optimizations for only certain types of traffic. It has been immensely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was sort of just thrown into Heap here at work so I had to Google how to do a lot of the things I wanted to do. Our shared heap definitions have grown immensely and therefore finding things that mean the thing I'm looking for has grown increasingly difficult. Some way to either upkeep on definitions that are no longer used (based on whether they are firing any longer or if their reports are being viewed) would be a big help to keep our definitions clean.

Also, although I believe there was an attempt to walk users through the new "Paths", I think a webinar going over this for users would probably have been a better way to go. Or some sort of interactive tutorial. Personally, I understand it because I use Google Analytics, but it was sort of tossed in there as a new feature without much information other than an email from my recollection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really need to optimize our top of funnel acquisition as we are in a market that is very competitive (auto insurance). So getting users to sign up in the most efficient way possible is key. Thanks to Heap, we saw a significant drop at our quote screen which led us to redesign it. After redesign, our quote acceptance rate more than doubled.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the retroactive data Heap can provide once you tag events. I also love the ability to create reports and dashboards very easily and in many different forms. The UI is also pretty straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that it relies on the HTML on the page to track events - considering if you make small changes you are essentially on the hook for updating the events in HEAP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just understanding how folks are interacting with our website and the key pages on it. Also tracking conversion paths and funnels.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface and smart event tracking makes this the most complete and easy to use analytics platform we've used. It's simple to create and track events and the cached data means you can see what's been happening before you realized you should be looking at it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems like they have some internal alignment issues. We spent a few months going back and forth with a BDR who thought we weren't paying them (we wer'e) and was trying to 10x what we were paying for a marginal increase in utility in the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track all the activity of our users and get a better understanding of what's going on the platform. Our tech team also find the user tracking useful for identifying bugs.

Heap is a powerful tool for B2B business

What do you like best about the product?
The killer feature in Heap that it's collects all events on a page and you don't need to spend time on events setup. In such platforms as Google Analytics or Amplitude, you need to spend a lot of time defining the events and sometimes you add new buttons or change the UX and forget to add them to analytics. So there is no way to collect events data retrospectively. But Heap can do this!
Collection of all data totally removes the pain of monitoring the status of analytic setup.
I love Heap's clear UX design, great work!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am fully satisfied with existing functionality, I only have feature requests: it would be great to have a screen recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap helps me to analyze product feature usage, funnels and monitor the retention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have B2B business that's the right tool to use. I would recommend to use Heap + FullStory - that's a super powerful bundle!

Getting retrospective analytics and insights from events that we just create,
Fast in terms of query time
Realtime so that you can get insights about actions that were just happened.
Its funnel feature is super easy and useful

There is no grouping feature by account or company,
Creating custom dashboard features is limited and not much useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it enables us being data-driven when it comes to our product building decisions

The simplest analytics tool that you can use if you want a plug and play solution.

The ability to automatically capture all user events.

New Path Analysis tool is great, but more clarity around that.
The ability to easily move reports and events around between environments.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to set up and configure events. Simple tooling that makes it easy to analyze and export functionality into our DataWarehouse for more advanced analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data export and managing events can be a little challenging, but that's not unexpected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Heap to analyze site usage and have identified a number of key loyalty drivers that we are doubling down on as a result.

What do you like best about the product?
Heap analytics is truly unlike any other analytics software out there. I am not just collecting 100x more data on my users - I am able to put my data to work to optimize my product, enhance my customer experience, and grow my business. I've tried every competitor out there. Don't waste your time. Install Heap right away and see for yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to point out anything I dislike about Heap is the duration of the data history. 3 months is too short! But there's an easy fix. Set up a connection to your backend database to store all of the valuable behavioral data right away!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimizing my product. Increasing conversions. Lowering my cost of customer acquisition. Using data to make predictions on purchase behavior. Staying up to date with my customer's needs. Finding pain points in my product that is effecting sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't waste any more time with any other analytical software out there. If you want to get serious about improving your product, install Heap and get to work.
