Making ecomm great again
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see things we thought were not trackable. It's immensely powerful in help drive decisions on design and UX with real data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I mean if you can get Frank Ocean to drop an album or Yandhi released that'd be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a new company so making sure that we continue to grow month over month is really important.

Easy to use and helpful for our team
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best of he software is it’s easy to use interface. Someone without an engineering background can go in and setup their own dashboards for analytics. This is very powerful for us. I also like the fact you have different chart to table options which is extremely helpful when analyzing.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may exist, but I may not be aware of it, but I would like a way to mass export my dashboards or have them emailed to me automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we look at heap to capture usage information on the Customer Success side. We also track which features are being used most and use the data to make decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Getting data from the app retrospectively. And how easy is to define events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing structure. It can get very expensive, especially because of Heap's "catch-all" capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand different use cases. Improving the User Experience of the product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get more integrations (Airtable, Klipfolio) and create more affordable plans.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. in the reports, I would like to have a "sort".
right now it's sorted by the number of events happened during the session.
I would like to see it as the flow (without opening them one by one)
2. I would like the app to perform a "known issues test"
as facebook browser is known to cause issues, the system can check if it performs well for my site and let me know if it has any issues.
it can do so with different parameters, like wifi vs. mobile data, known issues with operation systems and so on..

What do you like best about the product?
Increase Your Data Access, Drive Better Business Outcomes through user behaviour and clickstream through product, also we use to understand and verify user-reported bugs on the product.
I use mostly Analyse( User Funnel, Graph and Retention), Define, Dashboard and Reports.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does not give user session-level insights and It's feature suggestion to upload bulk user and show their behaviour and give a different type of user-param on that.

Heap Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Heap is the perfect tool for matching up onsite behaviour with key business metrics. It makes it incredibly easy to track the impact of any changes on site. The retrospective ability to track on-site actions ensures nothing is ever lost from a data tracking perspective.The account team are also really responsive with any issues or queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The key value from Heap is using the data downstream, it can sometime's be tricky to use the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We constantly use Heap to track on-site actions and funnels. We're able t quickly understand any changes on site and their impact on conversion metrics.
Super helpful for finding missing details!
What do you like best about the product?
Helps me find mobile numbers and other lead information that can often drop out when transferring to our CRM. New sales that are missing details often I can find what I need using heap.

Haven't found anything yet that I dislike

- Our CRM often splits out leads over 2 contacts so HEAP helps resolve this so we can connect details

Comprehensive, Easy, Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Heap captures everything. Everything. Classifying web activity, analyzing, and creating meaningful reports is easier than any other web tool I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things that other tools do well (pathing, channel attribution, etc) are not Heap’s strong suit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How tests are performing, what activity is leading to conversion (and which deter it), and a host of other ad hoc analyses.
Very helpful in seeing in-app user activity

Heap is essentially our in-app analytics that give us insight into everything we want to see that our users are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a basic, non-techy user some of the features feel too complicated to dive into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting user-level insight into where are users are going inside of our software.
Good for non analysts, a bit of a learning curve for those that can query a db

I think the thing that I like best is that users can track clicks on DOM elements using a WYSIWIG editor. it's also very easy to create funnel visualizations
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally find it easier to just query our data warehouse when I want to look at user behavior, or how behavior flows during a session. However, I realize that the majority of users who would benefit from an event analytics system like Heap may not have that ability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use heap primarily to dig deeper on click events and to easily create funnel visualizations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're not already placing event data into a data warehouse and/or have team members who are not comfortable creating complex queries, then I'd definitely choose Heap.
