Great to understand users behaviours and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Is very easy to analyze data and create your own deashboards. And no programming skills needed to map events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snapshot properties don't work so good and difficult to understand important content marketing metrics such as bounce and session time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understant our acquisition funnel and which channel are contributing more to our conversions. Identifying opportunities to test and experiment to drive more conversions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to understand the user behaviour in your site and extract insights to test.

What do you like best about the product?
real time insights, and plenty of options for analysis. Also offers oversight for the entire organisation, while offering account managers feedback on activity they need to drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
not intuitive to use at all, lots of different commands and widgets to get the insight you were looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
driving account retention by understanding when our clients have logged in. Has helped us win back some accounts we thought were inactive by noticing a login.

Heap has changed the way we track users on our site.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for me as a product manager to do the tagging and for it to be able to work retroactively is an amazing feature which extremely helps our organization to be more productive. The ability to run quick funnels with heap and dive deeper on a user level really helps us to understand how users are using our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The comparison with previous period was a nice addition, but the ability to actually do a parallel funnel analysis would be really nice to have. Also - ability to export the graphs and funnels as an jpg/png would be nice to have as it is really hard to get the data out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For example, we launched a feature a few months ago, the moment after we launched, I as a PM tagged it and realized we weren't getting as much conversion as we wanted. After that we decreased our pull time and our conversion rate was doubled. It's times like this that makes Heap extremely powerful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using this as a separate tracking compared to the traditional track like Omniture or google analytics. Heap is very different in terms of tracking so it's always good to have it running in parallel to other analytics tool until you get comfortable with it. It is extremely powerful tool but also thinking is very different.

What do you like best about the product?
Event/Segments definition is a breeze, the reporting tools and graphing options a very extensive

We've been using it more extensively for about 6 months now and I still can't find anything I don't like about it

Insight into the what

What do you like best about the product?
Provides retroactive insight in an easy-to-use interface, with helper tips, on how to understand what your users are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes hard to get started with using the software to its maximum potential because it can require quite a bit of ramp up to understand its use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have found problem areas, and know what our clients are doing on our platform.

Incredible, powerful analytics to track user behavior

What do you like best about the product?
Biggest pro: There are no "views" or "filters" to set up that don't go back in time or are destructive to future views like in GA. It's also incredibly easy to set up funnels so you can track traffic flow through your website in any combination. All your data is saved - and you can dig into it at will. So refreshing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more emphasis on real-time views and clicks, but ultimately this is very minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are figuring out where customers are getting stuck and identifying pain points on our website. We're always trying to improve processes and having Heap makes it much easier to track that.

Awesome at Tracking events with no need for developers

What do you like best about the product?
Heap allows you to track events and pull information from our website without the need for developers time. It has allowed me to asses how users are behaving, inspire A/B tests and then track A/B tests in detail with the help of VWO.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to build some reports with multiple columns in order to export the data or see all the data in easy to read manner

User behaviour, understanding what events, buttons, filters really matter, finding issues in the user flow

What do you like best about the product?
I like the "Live" view of events - really gives a clear picture of activity and a great method to define events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of - the initial planning in terms of naming conventions and organization is a bit daunting but that should work itself out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to get detailed information about usage patterns. With Heap, we can finally get a clear picture of what is going on with out usage patterns to influence appropriate action.
