Easy to on board user behavioural analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to backtrack data to gain insights on user behaviours, even if you weren't sure what you wanted to determine, and having that ability to go deeper on each user journey is only the beginning.
Having the ability to seamlessly integrate with tools for data enrichment and to trigger actions for increasing engagement on the user side.

What do you dislike about the product?
Ad blockers mean that there is no way of tracking 100% of user behaviours, however, this is not a product fail and as a Product Manager you probably don't want to relay only in quantitative data to make decisions about your product, although this is great for indicating trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The whole session replay new feature is something that would have come in Handy for our product version migration as it could have help us identify specific points where the users were dropping to go back to the old app version
Great cross platform analytics tool, easy to integrate to and analyst user beehive within the app

Easy integration and auto-capture are great

What do you dislike about the product?
While you can get complex queries, it is sometimes hard to find how exactly to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand the usage of new features.
Understanding bad user behavior patterns, which help us to resolve them (by creating better UX)

Fantastic option for Product Analytics if you can't instrument yourself
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to set up and requires the bare minimum resources from Engineering to implement. Maintenance is also a breeze and again minimizes engineering resources to maintain. We also take advantage of the data share program being a Snowflake customer so we have data in both Heap and our data warehouse
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as many analytics modules as something like Amplitude. We primarily use Heap for product instrumentation and do our analyses outside of the Heap environment. Amplitude seems to have a much more robust set of analysis blocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have product instrumentation or product analytics before Heap because our engineering resources could never get prioritized to do so. Heap allows us to instrument our product and get product analytics / event data with a bare minimum of engineering resources.
It is nice to use but a little confusing

The tracking analytics is great and I like how user friendly it is

Not enough info per step, it is a little confusing and would like more indication on how to correct a track

Not sure how accurate numbers are, but that could be due to things on our end.

The simple user interface, relatively easy to use and understand

Limited functionality compared to Google Analytics.

Great tool to track all events in your product but not enough flexibility in reports

Heap tracks all the events in your product without having to pre-define them

Not enough flexibility in report building and sometimes a bit hard to properly track an event.

Be able to track how our users interact with our app
Heap is a powerful web and mobile analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
One of the key strengths of Heap is its ability to automatically capture user interactions and events across web and mobile platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing special, maybe need to add more integrations with other analytics providers.

Ability to segment users based on a wide range of criteria, such as user behaviour, demographics, and custom properties.

There are many hidden features it seems. Better if heap has an onboarding tooltip

No heatmap and the session capture isn't so easy to find what you are looking for.
