What do you like best about the product?
flexible dashboards and the events visualiser

It's really helped me streamline the data overview of our platform.

The speed to generate reports and update queries is wonderfully fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to get sometimes more control over filtering options (hostnames), being able to duplicate reports to make more specific versions and small amendments we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting an overview of platform and solving UI and UX issues.

Most important of all I get this data quickly and easily digestable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

HEAP is Analytics made easy

  • August 30, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Virtually code-free implementation of analytics. As a non-tech user, I can easily configure events & set up dashboards for analysis our our product at a glance. It's the first few tabs I open each day in my browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing much to dislike. I think accessing the HEAP Dashboard on mobile is not currently available? If basic pages like the dashboard (view only perhaps) can also be accessed through a web app it can be pretty useful when we are on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Studying user interactions with our platform. Insight into user bottlenecks where we can work with users to improve design. What we learn through HEAP can guide our development work, so we don't build blind.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get started. It's fuss-free and easy to start & keep continue using

Awesome data analysis tool!

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is that it tracks all historical customer information even for events that you don't specifically define. It is also very powerful when you development team starts to input in server side and customer events.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is alittle bit limited in how you can do more complex analysis of the data within the heap platform. Its perfect for most teams but at ver advance levels you need to export the data to a new database to run complex queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for full funnel analysis and optimization. It has helped point out key drop off spots. We also use it to track our optimizely a/b test groupings and analyze how a/b tests are performing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Heap has a great support team for our account. They are always very response and we share a slack channel with them to communicate.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the event visualizer which made it so intuitive to use for a designer like me. Defining events took seconds instead of asking another team member to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I didn't like about heap
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're making data informed decisions when looking to improve our product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend it if you want to save time and enable more employees to build out the analytics

Heap is great, but not very user friendly.

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Heap has a unique way of tracking usage which is easy to setup and manage but requires some personnel training to get a hang of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way dashboards are presented is not very flexible in terms of viewing options and modeling and the fact that data always seems skewed at the start of every period is a bit annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track actual usage on platforms with little setup time and reasonable learning curve

What do you like best about the product?
Heap allows you to go in depth about data analysis. The best feature is that it allows to analyze data coming both from iOS and Web in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature that allows to test and to store the event better. It’s complicated to manage a lot of saved events
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing our e-commerce data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would make it easier to store the events and catalog them. The testing phase and ability to create events by the marketing team would need to be improved also.

Simple to start getting the most out of our data

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Heap is super simple to implement. If this is done you already get a lot of data which then can be used to filter, group, sort and work with. It’s perfect for our SaaS application. We see what customers are using the most and how they use our app.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the data that comes in can be a little overwhelming at the beginning. But after playing around you get used to it real quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting all the data we need to improve the features of our app which most of our users use.
