Solid, worry free product to meet your backup needs
What do you like best about the product?
Druva just works. Once you have the client installed, apply the settings, and it is worry-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Druva has increased prices lately, making it harder for small businesses and non-profits to afford. Backups should be affordable for all, regardless of size and status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Druva to replace our old tape backup system. We gained a worry-free system, with no need to manage tapes or other media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please give them a look, but be sure to push and negotiate on the price. Be sure to compare prices and hold that to Druva if needed.

Druva Insync Client
What do you like best about the product?
very user-friendly interface and setup was straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
when developing profiles and adding folder, the folder is visible even though the customer may not have those folders and creates confusion amongst the end-users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is storing the customer's data in the cloud vs. on-prem. The only issue we have encountered is the AD sync seems to disconnect, and the only way to re-connect is to generate a new registration key
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the product is fantastic and meets all the requirements for our customers
Very user friendly interface
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless cloud based services and quick service and support
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequently update of client agent version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can recover lost data without any difficulty. Cost saving is most likely benefits
Druva Phoenix Review
What do you like best about the product?
I found the ease of setup and monitoring were great features . The ability to test and then view the status in a single pane was a big help once things were implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backup restoration procedure and requirements are greater and more time consuming than I would prefer but it's acceptable. Unfortunately I don't know of a way to make it happen more quickly. That's just something that is to be expected with any kind of software like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote backup of systems and endpoints was the issue that we needed to solve. Being able to centrally manage the endpoints especially was a benefit that we were lacking prior to using this software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely suggest people who are looking to solve the remotely managed backup requirements, especially of endpoints to take a look at this software.
Solid product!
What do you like best about the product?
That its web based and handles both backups and offsite storage of said backups in one product. Would have needed 2 solutions with Veeam
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports aren't straight forward. I just want to see an email that simply says if backups were successful or not. I don't need all that other bs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
backups and offsite storage
Druva's been great for us
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, set and forget. It's not failed any recovery efforts we've needed it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onprem version has been flawless for us. For our cloud instance, we've had the occasional support call to re-up storage but support and the account teams have always been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplicity of backup for legal hold needs and our road warriors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot, you'll like it!
I use it for my organization to backup personal workstations with business critical information.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to manage through the web portal. The cloud portion of it makes it great that we don't have to host anything and it all can be easily managed just by logging in. Also it is fast and up to date. The support and implementation team have also been great. Our account rep Daniel Rodriquez has also been fantastic and has always made sure we have everything we need as a customer. The Druva team overall has been very responsive, courteous and helpful and would definitely recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you were able to be more selective about what to back up on the workstation. It seemed a little difficult to put in logic around what files should be backed up and what shouldn't. Besides that I think it is very user friendly and makes it easy to manage everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently had an employee's machine wiped too soon and we lost critical data. This wouldn't happen again with inSync since we would know have that machine being backed up and would have a restore point in the cloud even if it was wiped physically. Also we have one workstation that we essentially use as a server to host a very small application. Since we are not able to back up this workstation with Phoenix due to it not having a server OS, we can use InSync to back up this workstation and can use this to restore the application should it crash.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would play around with it to see what you can do with the settings and see how it fits with your organization's needs.
Decent Solution to Protect Your Data
What do you like best about the product?
We found Druva inSync is a descent solution for mid size organizations looking a central backup solution. Can become a bit of a headache for larger organizations due to occasional issues with agents. This could be easily overcome if Druva support steps us a bit and backup client is thoroughly tested for bugs and incompatibilities before release.
What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned earlier there quite some room for improvement such as Backup agent reliability, Support needs some improvement and reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva inSync is being used and has been our backup solution of choice to protect all our users data on corporate owned machines for both onsite and remote employees across the organization. Aside for a number of issues backing up OneDrive for Business and local backup client stop backing up randomly for several users for a period of time, eventually these issues got resolved. Biggest benefit is being able to manage backup from one central location.
Could be great but doesn't quite make it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software continues to back up even when the machine isn't on the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's complicated to make sure the set up if correct. The software isn't a dynamic software that updates with changes to the machine, it has to be changed for each machine for each update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lost of data to damaged machines
Druva inSync
What do you like best about the product?
Setup is easy, restores are even easier either remote or local. Customization on the back-end, and the support team is very helpful. Constantly adding new features to stay current with ever changing technology. Added support for Microsoft O365, Google, and Box. Reporting functions are easy to setup as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike currently about the product I can honestly say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to restore data to new systems due to crashes, lost device, accidental deletion, users who have left, and for purposes of legal hold. I am able to restore data across systems, and get users data to them confidently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product that will save you time, and at times your hide.
