Great Product!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Druva InSync product. It was easy to set up, and the Druva team was there for support if there were any issues. The backups work great, and you can set it and forget it. It will send alerts for all the statuses is you like. The cloud interface was tons of helpful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found dislikes. Before I can think of anything, they keep improving the product or the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I am solving with this product Is that I have a reliable off-site backup that isn't going anywhere, and it is secure.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Druva Improved its support in last three years. Now there is no match of druva support.
2. WIth the help of documentation and videos, we can install Insync and Hybrid Workloads without any help of third party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva Insync has solved our problem of endpoints data protection, and Hybrid Workload Solved our problem of servers, Virtual Machines, and database backup.
We always found that backup was always available during any mishappening with the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementation in big and multi-branch organizations is complicated. Druva does not provide support for implemenatation.
It is perfect for SMBs.
Remote deployment is almost not possible even using AD or any other central authentication.
Perfect solution for endpoint backup in an office.
AWS Backup and Disaster Recovery
It is an excellent tool that helps improve response time in AWS resources its automation helped generate savings in the environments.
Very Simple yet Robust Solution
We started using the non subscription version a couple of years ago then moved to the subscription version as our enterprise and needs grew. This is a fairly easy to use and implement backup solution for our AWS EC2 needs.
The rollout was easy enough via cloud formation scripts/links and managing the backup jobs was also relatively easy to setup and allows for some flexible customization in the conditions for including resources to backup.
Overall we are happy with this product! We will continue using it for our cloud backup needs and would recommend it for others.
Good product and great value
This is a very useful product. We like the fact that we can set it up and it just works. It takes care of daily and weekly AMI creation and pruning as well as DR testing. We are happy with the results.
Backup and Disaster Recovery falls short
CloudRanger is a constantly evolving service that has helped us protect our AWS Resources against disaster and data loss events. You can score some savings by using their resource scheduling module which is great for shutting down non-prod environments during nighttime or weekends.
Their customer support is great, they're so responsive and you literally get the feeling that you're helping improve the product as they tightly follow up on bugs or feature requests.
Data backup solution made for remote workers!
What do you like best about the product?
Druva InSync lets our users back up their laptop data to Druva cloud easily anywhere that has Internet access. Each user may backup 10 devices' data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first data backup will take a long time to complete.
Backup for the Mac laptops cannot work on all logical drives that the users define. Hopefully, Druva will release a new feature to address this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After COVID, my company employees do not go to the office to work anymore and our old data backup solution requires our users to connect to the company network to complete the backup process. Druva InSync lets our employees back up their data at home without connecting to the company network anymore.
Endpoint protection made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Once configured backups are reliable and automatic. No need to constantly monitor if they're working. Restores are simple enough for clients to do by themselves. Product support is excellent, they're able to resolve issues quickly and rarely have to wait on a technician. Reports can be easily generated to show success and failure of key devices. Ties into our active directory environment to sync accounts and passwords over easily and eliminates neeed to manually manage password changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin interface could be updated to make things easier to use. Not super intuitive. Since i'm not in the console every day I sometimes find myself hunting around to find where to do things like update policies, change retention add users. Most clients require backups of the non standard folders that are included, would be nice to have a predefined method to do the entire disk minus the system files and program files. Would also be nice to have a way to do an "image" backup of certain devices so that they can be 100% recovered in the event they are lost/stolen or corrupted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reliable on and off campus endpoint backups. A number of staff are working remotely or off network and require regular backups. We couldn't do this with our enterprise backup and enjoy cloud storage and replication of the backup data. Historically we have used druva to recover data from laptops that are lost or stolen with the occasional need to recover indivicual files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We were previously an on premise druva customer that moved to the druva hosted model. Leveraging their cloud platform has been awelcome change for us as it removes the large onsite storage needs along with the requirement to have a secondary offsite copy. Once setup this product is easy to use and requires very minimal administration other than adding in new backup clients. We looked at other solutions but Druva best met our needs. We have been a druva customer for a number of years and their support and features have been excellent.
