Advanced platform and responsive team

  • April 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Blendr is an advanced integration platform with many connectors to international and regional cloud solutions. The team is responsive, they listen to your needs and add requested features and connectors on a regular basis. Blendr also has a training program and hands-on webinars that help to learn the platform better.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we started to use the platform, we missed some of the regional fintech connectors, but the Blendr support team added them within a couple of days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We could offer integration services to our customers, which otherwise would take much more time to develop and become too expensive for our customers.

Great Data visualization tool suitable for all levels of data literacy

  • April 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik is easy to use with minimum instructions. All dashboards use similar functionalities even if they are built differently.
The tool offers many options to fit all levels of data literacy within a company
Good performance, the navigation between pages is easy .
Intuitive yet advanced filtering functions, selections are easy to make and remain visible throughout the whole process
The tool also enables data discovery by starting with high level information and enabling deep dive by selecting matching dimensions.
Charts can be completed with tables in order to fit all needs. Data is also easy to export for further use as a picture or an Excel file.
Supports data driven solutions : it is easy to create data driven solutions aimed at raising attention of the user on a specific topic or creating a temporary page with a focus area
What do you dislike about the product?
More visualizations would be better / extension visualizations are not performing well enough
Option for data entry / comment would be a next step for the tool
No possibility to share bookmarks between users
The pivots are not intuitive and lack functionalities such as easy filtering or sorting. As well the pivot function should offer a better visualization
Coloring of visualizations is quite limited unless you are an expert user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are giving the whole company visibility on our daily turnover and can raise awareness on risks and opportunity
Qlik supports our vision of One source of Truth by providing each department its own dashboard based on company KPI's
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good tool to integrate various data sources

Good Visualization software. Needs more tutorials and access to basic software on Personal desktop.

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy drag and drop features and easy to modify charts to own taste.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software needs to be available for personal download, even if basic to look at code posted on help site. I currently can't see codes or examples on Qlik help site as I use Qlik in cloud and no way to download to cloud.
Needs even more flexibility with charts and options(like bar and line charts on same graph).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving sales data in regards to closing on sales. I have been able to create very easy to digest graphs, and made custom charts for what I want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good Visualization software. Will improve over time but good for basic function.

Good Visualisation Tool

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create your own views, bookmarks and play around with the data as you want
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards become very slow when handling large volumes of data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being used as a self service tool in the organisation to minimise the load on the core analytics team by creating fixed views for repetetive requests
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very Good Tool for Visualisation. An upgrade to Tableau for sure. but you need skiled resources for this tool which is a rarity in the market

Qlik has been helpful to unlock and understand the mountain of data we have.

  • April 07, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to pull data from multiple data sources. Like the Qlik Insights function to give me ideas on what to develop/display.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ESRI GIS integration. Huge win to pull that in. Easy AI would be great to help me with my data. Need for Qlik specific language in development. More SQL language would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Specialized developers. THe easier Qlik is to build - the wider the audience and adoption of the platform. Having a few specialized folks who can build it is a limiting factor. Builds frustration rather than trust.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Agile enough to be user friendly, gives you the ability to build out complex dashboards and unlock data insights.

Powerful data analytics/BI tool for creating intuitive dashboards and other data solutions

  • April 07, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Qlik Sense for the last 5 years in both public and private sector businesses and it has always been able to cope with any challenge I've thrown at it. It connects well to every data source I've come across and even integrates well by being able to push data into other sources if required via store commands and API calls. Behind the scenes you have a powerful scripting area, allowing you to do all your ETL and to build a data warehouse using highly compressed QVD files. in the front end you have an in-memory data model that allows for rapid data discovery. The visualisations are crisp and tidy. The real stand out element of Qlik Sense is its associative engine which allows users to see data that is related and unrelated to selections. No other BI tool does this and it helps trigger new lines of query such as "why are we not selling this product?" rather than just simply seeing your top performers.
There are many BI tools out there and their front ends all look as good as each other. I've tried most of them but Qlik is a BI developer's best friend because you have complete control over your data from start to finish. It also comes with master data items which apply a governance layer to self service apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visualisations lose too much detail as they resize to adapt to smaller laptop screens but they can be expanded individually. I'd like to see more connectors out of the box and better predictive analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Qlik data quality dashboard spots problems before users find them in reports. We also use it to balance sales data between systems and send out email alerts when there are issues.
In my previous job I implemented Qlik Sense at a variety of companies and revolutionised the way HR, Marketing, Sales and other departments work, by automating everything and giving them insight into questions they didn't even know they had.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. Total cost of ownership
2. Speed of running queries and selections
3. End user experience
