Druva O365 backups!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Druva cloud to backup our large O365 dataset for about 4 years now. I find the solution to be easy to setup, navigate, and perform both backups - and restorations. We use it to backup our entire O365 environment - Exchange mailboxes, Onedrive, SPO, and Teams.
Customer support is always helpful and fast! Any problem my team has ever had was quickly diagnosed and resolved promptly. If anything else required a further hand-holding, our CSM reaches out to offer his assistance.
Although I use a different backup solution to backup our private cloud, i.e. vmware stack, I doubt I'll move away from Druva Insync backups. I am continuously looking at how we can leverage and integrate this solution into our enterprise.

Currently, i dont have anything to dislike about Druva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Druva to backup our O365 environment. As you may or may not know, MS has never really offered a backup solution for their O365 environment. Yes yes, it's 2024 and after MS Ignite, MS did release a new product that does this. But my back of the napkin calculations show that it might be more that our current Druva spend.
Also, do you want to store your backups in the same environment where you're primary data is?!??!

Druva Journey for Endpoint Backup
What do you like best about the product?
Druva Data Resiliency Cloud seamlessly integrates a unified system of records spanning data protection, security, and governance. This integration fosters enhanced collaboration among critical IT functions, propelling business resilience and ensuring compliance with greater efficiency."
What do you dislike about the product?
Druva's performance falls short as users have reported significant CPU issues when initiating the backup process. Despite extensive efforts to identify the root cause by analyzing computer systems, no corresponding logs were found, pointing to a poorly developed logging structure. This lack of transparency underscores that Druva is not a robust solution for data backup, as highlighted in the title..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva stands out as a highly reliable endpoint backup solution, earning our trust with its seamless performance. The process of backing up endpoint machines is remarkably hassle-free, thanks to its user-friendly interface. The simplicity of the product extends to data restoration, empowering users to manage their own data without the need for administrative intervention. One notable advantage is the absence of administrative overhead – no certified administrator is required to effectively manage this product. Moreover, the product's lightweight nature is commendable, with a mere 60MB client installation size on desktops or laptops, contributing to a smooth and efficient user experience.
Easy to administer and works very well.
What do you like best about the product?
The admin portal is very straight forward and it is easy to find the things you are looking for without clicking through endless screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not really seen any downsides to the product yet, although we have only been using it for about 2 months now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva is enabling us to have a much cleaner data recovery process, especially as it related to end user restores, making it very easy for them to see what data was recovered/restored in a way that is easy to explain to them and for them to find once restored.
From unconfident to confident...
What do you like best about the product?
We migrated from an on premise replictation solution that had become rather cumbersome to maintain. The confidence that we could restore on that solution was lacking. Not to mention, the GUI was not friendly or intuitive and we identified the need to move to a new solution. The hardware agnostic approach that Druva provides was exactly what we were looking for in a replication/backup solution. We also leveraged their backup solutions for O365 data. It is very comforting to test backups/restores and concretely see them succeed every day. The onboarding support was phenomenal and customer service has continued to be excellent even after onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside, and I don't know that I would call it a downside, is the level of effort to make sure all systems are covered properly. I imagine this is simply an effort requirement for any backup/restore solution. This solution is also highly dependent on your internet bandwidth...so make sure you size appropriately for the solution to be effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you dislike about the product?
needs to watch out for credit consumption and pre-calculate the usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a backup solution for Virtual servers and O365, and remote storage for DR under one console.
we tested three solutions including pricing, storage usage, and a friendly recovery process, and decided to go with Druva.
Implementation was easy and within a short period of two weeks all backup jobs were configured and ready to roll, it depends on the data size but the process is running on the background.
M365 is easy and running from day one.

Great no-coding SaaS backup and data resiliency solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Deployment was relativelly easy and Druva requires little day-to-day maintainance. There are many features that allow for the backup to be costomised in accordance with individual needs. Ability to cryptographically lock the backup to prevent tampering attempts is also very helpful, especially in the context of ransomware-related risks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was not technically possible to have Druva nativelly store the Salesforce backup in a European jurisdiciton.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva allows us to backup core cloud data storeges as well as endpoints (laptops) in an external location and easily recover from such backup when needed. This improves our data resiliency, makes us less exposed to various attacks, enhances our disaster recovery, and generally prevents data loss. We also use Druva to comply with eDiscovery requiremetns and to address the risk of ransomware.
