Very slick

What do you dislike about the product?

Easy and flexible backup to the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Deployment is incredibly easy. The platform did not take long to implement at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options need more configurability. It is in some respects oversimplified and I'd like more tunability in some aspects of the tools available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am ridding myself of the risk of "on premise" or "near premise" backups. Benefits immediately realised are super simple restoration and easy to use recovery interfaces when I needed it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is one of the easiest and most readily deployable tools on the market for this task. It is a new generation of backup tech and is "done right".
User for 3+ years
What do you like best about the product?
No longer having to use tapes or hard drives for backup and then take off-site for security purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had some issues with file restoration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up multiple locations to a single location. Fast backup and recovery and data deduplication.
Easy to use and very effective
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very easy to use and understand. It seems to be fast and reliable, and even the most basic of users can usually figure out how to do a simple file restore. It offers many features that you didn't know you needed until you try them for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when it consumes a lot of resources when running a backup. Unfortunately this can happen in the middle of the day at the worst possible times. There can also be some issues when migrating between machines, but the fact it handles this at all is impressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Constant backups and easy restores have eliminated the worry about data loss so that we can focus more on being productive. The ability to handle machine migrations when users upgrade equipment is a huge benefit that wasn't part of the original intention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look no further if you want a decently priced full featured cloud backup system.
Very easy to deploy and use
What do you like best about the product?
Druva is a very easy to use and deploy backup system. In its console you have every that you need to schedule and perform your backups
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have one user in one Druva tenant you can't create a user with the same email in another tenant. This is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we don't need to have big backup servers on premise. Every data is safe in Druva.
Great solution for small to medium business
What do you like best about the product?
Cost-efficient, low maintenance, easy to deploy, compatibility
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a couple issues at the moment of deployment, it took us around 3 weeks to iron them all out, but after it was set working, no further intervention was necessary. Also the payment model was difficult to understand at first, and some sales representatives did not know how to explain it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving from on-site backup to cloud backup. Upgrading technology for backups, not relying on physical backup schedule.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monitor the implementation closely for at least 4 weeks. New problems appear after a couple days of implementation, and they need to be addressed as soon as possible to avoid losing data. Also make sure to be crystal clear about their business model, different sales representatives will tell you different payment methods and it can become confusing.
inSync is a seamless envaluable tool for IT administrators and stakeholders
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless adaptations for the companies policy and recovery. Giving ownership and freedom to users what to back up and not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough alerts outside of console for failures and users client response. The original setup was seamless but missed some profile creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online backup for company and needing less IT resources was solved and support end user . I am still am interesting in more value for our purchase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend fully testing the product in parallel with current backup solutions until your comfortable to fully migrate your solution. Outside of the that this product is superior and would highly recommend to others in the IT sector
Protection through transparency
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features is the email notification that I receive when I do a Restore for my data. That way, both you and your administrator know exactly what data is being pulled. The Admin console is also a lot better recently by way of the UX redesign. Navigation is a lot simpler and more intuitive which makes my life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest flaw we're working with right now is InSync's inability to interpret OneDrive files that are not locally downloaded. We are seeing a ton of backups show "finished with errors", and they are almost always the cloud-stored docs that are not local. Another one of the areas that needs the most improvement in Druva InSync is the auditing logs. I have a really hard time gathering the data I need regarding full lists of users with stale backups or inactivity. Also, pulling larger data restores takes a significant amount of time. Any time I need to restore more than 20GB at a time, I know I'll need to leave the restore overnight. And if there's an interruption (from the admin console), you have to restart from the beginning. A bit frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do a full drive backup with Druva, so if something catastrophic occurs on a drive, our users can be assured that they will be back in the game with all their data restored. We also are able to preserve devices for our retention policy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the cost-savings you'll have when you utilize this as a data retention utility.
Best backup/restore tool ever!
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, effective, non intrussive, easy to manage, very flexible and very stable. The console allow to view quickly the status off all backups per users and devices.
The capacity to give to the users the hability to restore your own files is very important too.

What do you dislike about the product?
Really i don´t have any dislike about the product , i think it is wonderfull! Some times, a discount will be apreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use them for years, in one environment with many portable devices, wich are stolen or simply broked for multiple reason, and all ways can recover the data, giving to the users a fast recovery to activity. Before using Druva, we can´t garantee the backup and the restore of the information. After Druva, we really garantee not only the backup, te restore of the data of the user are granted.
The non intrusive agent is very usefull specially with users wich are using the movile device (notebook) in a intensive way.
The users are using usually MS Outlook and local PSTs, and others backus tools don´t backup users file in use (locked), but Druva inSync take a shadow copy and backup the locked files without problem. In the organization, the PSTs file are very important as process documentation.

If you need a simple, effective and easy to restore tool, you need this tool.
Simple, yet Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Simple install and setup. We had it up within a day or so. We did most of it ourself, but support was helpful where needed. Great product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be a little more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy backups. We feel more in control of our backups and enjoy the interface.
