Great backup utility that's easy to set up and use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and set up. It allows admins and users to restore files easily and manage backups accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works as expected with very little setup or planning required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier and more straight forward end user backup solution to replace another utility.
One stop for end-user backup AND google cloud backup
What do you like best about the product?
Backup is comprehensive, includes Google Cloud. Also, great file exclusion and file flagging policies (ie if a file looks like it has SSN or CC number, Druva excludes and flags it)
What do you dislike about the product?
none yet. We loved our sales rep, and the onboarding was easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our head of product's laptop was stolen. He was up and running within 24 hours with all his files.
Easy to handle
What do you like best about the product?
Before we had used a folder redirect from active directly from Windiws server for backing up of endpoint. But it took time for logging in if a user has many files. Additionally, we needed to think about backup of the server self. But now, after using in sync, all we have to do is register users and they are the one installing an agent. Once it's been installed, we have nothing have to do. I can say that it's a handy and a reliable online backup system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the machines at work are still old type running by Windows7. It means that those machines don't have enough power to run InSync. Some users complain about their machine got slow since the agent has been installed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just a few months past since we started using Druva, it already saved 1 user from losing all the data, and it was easy to recover.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. So you will know how it’s great.
Does the job right!
What do you like best about the product?
The user documents and data backups have been reliable and definitely been needed for our large environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the authentication is lost to the server and we would need to have the end user re-establish their conection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that user data especially from mobile devices are backed up.
Druva just works
What do you like best about the product?
We have restored everything from entire servers to a single file and it just works
What do you dislike about the product?
We really don't have any issues with it. You obviously need to have a large internet pipe to upload all your files at the start in a timely fashion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need a dedicated "backup engineer" nor backup tapes and hardware or off-site storage.
Druva is great
What do you like best about the product?
For us, it has been a set it and forget it service
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup took some time but once complete, it has been simple to administer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online backup of our users' OneDrive data
Good product
What do you like best about the product?
Druva was much easier to work with than their competitor Code42. They have a strong product that is fairly easy to administer once it is in place. Pricing was also much better than Code42.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration is not as polished as other backup and recovery applications such as Veeam. Integration with AzureAD doesn't work very well, user management and device replacement can be a chore. I ran into multiple issues due to their knowledgebase either being out of date or confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once Druva inSync is in place, it can be a set it and forget it application. It will run in the background and if you ever need to restore something, a backup will be available. We love the enterprise search functionality and the ability to restore from anywhere with a web browser.
Very slick
What do you like best about the product?
Druva is fairly slick, and easy to install. However that being the case there is very little to troubleshoot when something is not working right
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little detailed information about issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint backup
Easy and flexible backup to the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Deployment is incredibly easy. The platform did not take long to implement at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options need more configurability. It is in some respects oversimplified and I'd like more tunability in some aspects of the tools available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am ridding myself of the risk of "on premise" or "near premise" backups. Benefits immediately realised are super simple restoration and easy to use recovery interfaces when I needed it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is one of the easiest and most readily deployable tools on the market for this task. It is a new generation of backup tech and is "done right".
User for 3+ years
What do you like best about the product?
No longer having to use tapes or hard drives for backup and then take off-site for security purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had some issues with file restoration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up multiple locations to a single location. Fast backup and recovery and data deduplication.
