Effortless Data Recovery and Peace of Mind with Druva
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Druva Data Security Cloud for nearly a decade. It has saved us a tremendous amount of time whenever we need to replace a user's laptop or recover from a laptop crash. Our users no longer have to worry about losing their data when their devices are replaced. Additionally, if someone accidentally deletes or modifies a file, we can quickly restore the backup from Druva within minutes. The few times that we needed to open a ticket with support, it was answered quickly and they were able to help us resolve the issue.

We have no dislikes for Druva Data Security Cloud.

Druva - simplicity with data backup

our environment is very unique and we have had a few issues with activation on company network as well as some workaround that needed to be implemented on windows based PCs for syncing. after that everything has been working seamlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
druva is giving us a extra piece of mind that if we have not yet sync with the could we have that local backup to revert back to or pull important data from if we need to.
Effortless Backup Management with Druva

Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish
What do you like best about the product?
Druva Security Cloud has been super straightforward with the setup process and sending backup reports directly to my email. Creating a new backup and disabling a backup is super quick and easy! Customer support is also very quick to answer any questions I have had in the past
What do you dislike about the product?
My main issue is mainly a small UI tweak. It would be nice to be able to see from the list of backups of a VM how long the retention is for that VM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva Security Cloud has been a huge help with ease of use of tracking backups and finding old files and documents.
Effortless Cloud-Native Security with Seamless Scalability
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Druva Data Security Cloud is its true cloud-native architecture—no hardware, no patching, and no maintenance. This SaaS model eliminates complexity and scales effortlessly, which is a huge advantage for global organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Druva excels in cloud-native backup and SaaS protection, its support for Hyper-V environments is not as refined compared to VMware or AWS workloads. The feature set feels limited, and configuration options for Hyper-V backups lack the same depth and flexibility offered for other platforms. For organizations heavily invested in Hyper-V, this can create challenges in achieving consistent backup and recovery workflows.

Problems Druva Security Cloud Solves
1. Data Loss & Ransomware Risk
* Druva provides immutable backups and anomaly detection, ensuring that even if endpoints or SaaS data are compromised, clean recovery points are available.
* This addresses the growing threat of ransomware and accidental deletion.
2. Complexity of Managing Multi-Environment Backups
* Traditional backup solutions require on-prem infrastructure and manual patching. Druva’s cloud-native architecture removes that burden, centralizing management for endpoints, SaaS apps, and cloud workloads.
3. Compliance & Governance
* Built-in support for GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2, along with detailed audit trails, helps us meet regulatory requirements without additional tools or manual processes.
4. Cost Optimization
* Global deduplication and tiered storage reduce backup storage costs significantly compared to legacy solutions.
5. Disaster Recovery
* Automated failover for AWS workloads ensures business continuity with minimal downtime, solving the challenge of manual DR orchestration.
How This Benefits Us
* Reduced Operational Overhead: No hardware to maintain, no patching, and simplified backup policy management.
* Improved Security Posture: Immutable backups and ransomware protection give us confidence in recovery.
* Faster Recovery: Granular restore capabilities for Microsoft 365 and endpoints minimize downtime for users.
* Scalability: Easily accommodates growth without additional infrastructure investment.
* Compliance Made Easy: Built-in governance tools save time during audits and reduce risk of non-compliance.

Effortless Setup and Reliable Performance with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and set up and it just continues to work. Support has been great when we've needed it and it was easy to in corporate our Google Workspace in addition to VMware backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have anything at the moment like all software we wouldn't mind if it was cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our backups continue to grow we no longer need to purchase new hardware or storage to accommodate our backups.
Effortless Data Protection with Powerful, User-Friendly Cloud Management
What do you like best about the product?
What’s most helpful about the Druva Data Security Cloud is how it takes the hassle out of protecting data. Instead of juggling multiple backup systems or worrying about maintaining servers, everything is managed through a single, cloud-based platform. My team find it is simple to use yet very powerful. We can see all our data in one place, recover files quickly, and stay compliant without adding extra infrastructure or cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so much now, although when we had more of a hybrid Infrastructure, keeping on top of agent backups was an extra administrative task, although clearly necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing backups across multiple systems. In short, it gives peace of mind — our data stays secure, our operations stay running, and my team stays focused on more strategic work instead of managing backups.
