Blackboard is a great LMS
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Blackboard is a all in one application , that allows faculty and students to encage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a complicated application for admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows instructor to teach online course work

A product that is intuitive for faculty and staff, and backed by a great support system.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Blackboard is connecting those that hold the knowledge and experience (instructors) to learners, with no bounds of distance.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick something I disliked, the inability to bulk edit points in Ultra, at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some assessment capabilities that are only available with certain add-ons.. it sounds like some of that will be streamlined in our favor soon. Excited about it.

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of options for student learning, especially with the upgrade to Ultra.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations, but it is improving. I felt the old product lacked a lot of simplicity.

Easier ways to communicate with students and retain them.

Implementation is a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to learn how to use the system. For both instructors and students.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of training materials provided for our custom CSS overlay has been difficult to navigate

We've implemented Blackboard Ultra state-wide with 10 different partner colleges to provide access to education.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the opportunities to set up courses to best meet the needs of students.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like it.There's really nothing that I don't like. It's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me set up and design my classes to better meet the needs of my students. I'm excited about all the new developments especially with AI use.

Ultra is very user friendly and our students LOVE it!

I think the Original view was hard for our students so making the switch to Ultra was the best decision we made!

It is helping our students achieve their learning outcomes.
A learning curve, but full of features for students, teachers, and staff

As an admin, I like how well laid out Blackboard's admin panel is. It's customizable, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would be easier to search for at least filter data within the GUI (i.e., give me all course for X semester built after Y date using Ultra)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives our teachers and students a platform for teaching and learning. I believe the LMS is doing its part when it's "invisible" to users, and it tends to do that admirably, especially Ultra.
The scaleability
What do you like best about the product?
The API reporting and its intuitive. We have a custom training management solution and use Blackboard for our LMS
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this point it has not been able to do for us.

The ability to meet legislative mandates that required a certain amount of mandated training be online
