I have been working in this system for 2 years and I love it.
What do you like best about the product?
All the information I need is at my fingertips, and so many areas are integrated. I work in this sytem daily and almost exclusively. When I have a support ticket, I usually receive a solid answer very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
By the some token, some modules do not connect to each other. Sometimes also the information only flows in one direction. It would be nice if data entry also flowed backwards. Implementation was rocky due to so many our legacy processes were forced into acumatica instead of us adapting our processes to Acumatica, but that is changing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retainage billing simplification is a big one, also more robust side panels

Heard good things about it from one of our customers who is using it in their facility.

Financial constraints compared to QuickBooks.
Benefits of User Friendly ERP lost in tedious tasks getting blocked with non-descript errors
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to drag and drop attachments is one of the nicest features of the tool. I do appreciate the integration of Avalara that has eased one of our concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
We went live without knowing what should have been configured creating errors that had legs, fix one and another error pops up. The need to write Generic Inquiries is antiquated, we don't want a nice user interface so that we can then go right SQL Server scripit. We abonded our MRP module after determining it was too difficult to customize. Velixo add on was less than helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing Customer Sales Order, Vendor Invoices are in one place. Bank Reconciliation is much better than what we have in Quickbooks / Microsoft GP
Cloud ERP, flexible and usable. TBD on scalability.
What do you like best about the product?
The developer community.
The flexibility with the no code tools make it great. The shared filters feature on reports allow users to save filters and even share company wide. Upgrade process is smooth. Cloud based and on Orem options.

Performance investigations and corrections are challenging. It is east to creat customizations that can kill performance.

Unified location for accounting and distribution.

a little cluttered natively in some instances.

implementation of clean GL / proper division set up from old software. Streamlining AP processes for up to date job costing.
No better ERP in the Mid-Market space
What do you like best about the product?
As a former Dynamics SL user and consultant, Acumatica bridges most of the gaps that were sorely missing in SL. The UI is so easy to use and I love the dashboards and the upgrade process. Plus, they have 2 major releases each year.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much. One feature that is missing is the copy and paste functionality in the transaction screens. This would be a huge benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Client Account Manager. One of my roles is to move our current SL and GP clients to Acumatica. The demos we show our clients are seamless and give us a huge advantage against the competition. The clients see the ease of use and the rich features and functionality make it very easy for us to migrate them to Acumatica.
Where is the scalability?
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I really enjoy about Acumatica is the ease of looking up items, and the customization of the column on places such as inventory summary. It makes viewing easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful is the non-auto allocation of items to orders. Scalability wise, this is a nightmare if you're putting up 1000s of products a day, and receiving 1000s of orders. This has been an absolute nightmare for our company and a consistent headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not very many that our other ERP couldn't handle.

Acumatica is a great ERP for a number of indistries
What do you like best about the product?
The toolset availablie in Acumatica is robust and gives you the flexibility to tailor processes to your business needs rather than having to change how you work. It has a solid foundation in many areas and is easy for people to jump in and start using right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out of the box reporting is lacking some. The available tools allow you to make virtually any report that you need, but it does take someone with some understandig of relational databases to do it effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a former consultant I helped many clients nodernize their business operations by getting rid of clunky legacy systems and moving to Acumatica. I now use it as a customer and we have moved all of our manual processes into Acumatica to provide the business with a single source of truth.
