What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect with the relevant partner for the relevant feature
What do you dislike about the product?
The international part of it - multi company and multi currency

Scaling up operations, streamlining from salesforce.com to ERP

What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization web services and end points.
What do you dislike about the product?
i am not a day to day user of Acumatica. I work on customizations or integration required by the business users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Acumatica for accounting only and I think we ran into performance problems however, after we upgraded to the newer version the performance improved.
Best ERP System I've used
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is a great system and the user interface it so easy to use. The system is also very versitle and can easily be customized to meet our company's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things I can say I dislike about Acumatica. There are a few quirks but the one thing that I wish was different is the way it handles shipping tables. On multiple shipment orders the system will apply shipping charges to each shipment, not just on the first shipment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before moving to Acumatica we had many manual processes and had limited visibility to our data. Using Acumatica we have been able to streamline and automate processes and we have real time visibility of our operations.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to adapt to customer changes. Acumatica listens to the needs of their customers and makes an effort to address those concerns in upcoming releases. The financial modules have everything we need to execute our month-end closing procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a lot that I dislike, but the system could have better functionality as it relates consolidations. As of now, there is not an easy way to do group consolidation outside of branch accounting. We would like to see the ability to consolidate separate enitites in multiple currencies and run robust reports from that consolidated data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica is solving our inventory tracking and manufacturing processing needs. We are able to capture all of our company reporting in one instance and maintain consistnecy accross our entities.

What do you like best about the product?
The consistency across the modules, integration with partners, and depth of the system capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are an early adopter of Acuamtica (2011), so some of the faults have been cured, such as reporting within the application.

Our challenge was to employ a system that could be deployed and utilized by disparate companies and industries.

Consistency of modules and ability to do notes and attachments everywhere

Built in report writer not very friendly

integration and connectivity to everything!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The system is very deep out of the box and don't get distracted with customization issues. Get the core working to its full ability and the rest will follow
Efficient Cloud ERP
What do you like best about the product?
I love being in the cloud with our ERP. The data is available anywhere, any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is the multiple customizations that are needed for some of our core processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving time tracking and customer communications with the CRM module. Anyone who has touched a customer can keep track of the most recent communication with that customer.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is cloud based. Lots of updates. The new direct support.
What do you dislike about the product?
System still seems buggy at times. New updates means new bugs. Lots of functionality missing such as WMS. The add-ons from different vendors just means more bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having both accounting/inventory management in 1 system. Both on the cloud that we can use when we travel abroad. We don't have to worry about data loss due to it being secure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have an IT or engineering team. Give yourself plenty of time for implementation and testing.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform is online and estensible. Acumatica is continuing to evolve and grow on a regular basis, almost at a clip that is difficult to keep up with from a business perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Acumatica is a monolithic application, something that I would love to see deconstructed and rebuilt around a microservices architecture. The physical server requirements for the system fluctuate throughout the day and because of that we are required to purchase hardware to support our toughest loads. Ideally the system would scale up or down depending on demand. I would also love to see less scheduled actions and more event-driven actions. The idea that I have to schedule how often email is sent from the system, and can only schedule it to occur as quickly as every minute, is not consistent, in my opinion, with what Acumatica represents technologically speaking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are replacing our custom-built ERP system and separate accounting system (MS GP) with Acumatica. Combining the two systems will be a significant leap forward for the organization.
Acumatica - great user experience ERP!
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is very easy to use and very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
While overall the system is very easy to use, there are some features that are still a bit clunky (users find the inventory quantity adjustments somewhat difficult to understand).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients need a fully integrated Manufacturing/Distribution/Financial package.
