Acumatica is the best ERP I have tried
What do you like best about the product?
The framework. There is a great depth of configurability in the system with GIs, Reporting, Dashboards and more. The real star in my book though is the customization platform. Being able to utilize Acumatica's developer tools and caching framework to get the system to meet your unique needs as a company, and then having the GIs and Dashboards treat your information as a 1st class citizen is where Acumatica shines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to submit issues to Acumatica. I don't want to involve my VAR every time, and I am not always looking for a patch, but for the issue to get addressed in an upcoming release. The feedback site is decent, but sometimes there are very specific scenarios where the software does not perform as expected. This isn't necessarily an issue with only Acumatica, all ERP systems have this same flaw in my book..
The upgrade process can be a bit of a bear due to how rabidly the Acumatica system is being developed. There is so much to keep track of between releases, it can become overwhelming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica is acting as our company ERP and Accounting system. Having the system available via browser is a great benefit for remote users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you are looking at very niche/industry specific software, I would always recommend Acumatica based on my experiences with several other ERP systems.

Acumatica is an easy to use application that runs your business from end to end. that is from shopping cart to cash and procure to pay. Weather you are a distributor, Manufacturing company or service, Acumatica has what you need to run your business including CRM.

I dont have anything I dislike about Acumatica
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have full visibility on my business with Acumatica. it allows me to make better decisions. We run project to manage all of our projects and distribution to track our software sales

You owe it to your business to take a look at Acumatica. It has so much functionality and it allows your entire organization to use the system at no additional charge

It's an effective way for our accounting department to deal with expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non-accounting person, I've frequently gotten confused by the process used to submit expense claims.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Submitting receipts and expense reports to our accounting department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just be aware that it isn't super intuitive to use for the average non-accounting user. Your department will probably get a lot of questions from employees on how to submit expense reports/claims/receipts.

All the familiar functions of any web browser you use. Fantastic search and navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to offer addin integration to more than just Outlook for Office 365.

Workflow efficiencies have increased productivity

Anyone needing any or all of the following in an ERP SaaS (or on prem) should consider: Distribution, manufacturing, construction, field service.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is accessible on various devices making it easy to access from anywhere.I love the fact that Acumatica has great benefits licensing options being among them. It is easy to use and has enhanced technology. It has predefined features such as cash and case management.

I honestly have nothing I dislike about Acumatica.

We have experienced significant growth in our company since we began to use Acumatica.

Acumatica Accounting and Invoice Generation and Customization Process is very powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Then only thing I mostly not prefer that if you have large amount of data to be processed at a time the system behaves little tired.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica provides instant access to the software and a large library of videos and guides to help get started without spending a dime. Download the latest version for a free 2-user access and have it running in minutes for evaluation using the "Sales Demo" data that can be applied at installation. Acumatica corporate and customer peer support is always within reach. With Visual Studio, complex customization can be added easily, and many customer enhancements don't even require visual studio.
The development community continues to grow. When I have issues, I can post on Stackoverflow to get the support of my peers as well as answering questions others ask to improve my own skillset.

What do you dislike about the product?
I use FIFO costing, and FIFO works a little "too" First In-First Out. When I have a Sales Order with an attached Purchase Order, the costing does not necessarily flow from the PO to the SO inherently. With configuration and clever use of locations, there is work around, but the nature of a SO-PO link should force the costing to flow as "Actual Specific" even when the item is defined as FIFO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our legacy system has worked well for a long time, and modern enhancements layered on top have helped with the longevity of the software. However, the aging architecture and the base platform have not kept pace with modern technology. Acumatica allows us to build our proprietary add-ons atop a solid platform with modern technology and tools. Many custom enhancements for us on our legacy system are made into Acumatica, providing a far more robust framework for better data management and support of our clients.

Please don't put it off! Download the free software, install it right away, and explore the features. See for yourself what it can do for you. It's free. There are free training videos for technically savvy individuals. You don't have to take my word for it. You need a little bit of time and the willingness to explore for yourself.

Unlimited license option; stratified "editions" (construction, e-commerce, etc.); simple OData query creation and publishing; simple file import/export facility

Data not real-time saved; no direct integration with Office; some overengineering of simple accounting tasks

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting capabilities of Acumatica are immensely helpful. The dashboards, generic inquiries equip us to make better and faster management decisions. It also gives significant flexibility as to the visibility permissions of team members. Setting up the system was very difficult and complicated, but if done well, is well worth the time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Setting up the system is difficult and complicated. There has to be higher levels of competency for administrators and the project team; and new people would find it difficult to learn the internal structure and set-up making the company dependent on the original administrators.
2. Local support is not yet strong enough, and there is not enough knowledge online to easily google solutions to problems. I feel that strong channel partner support is very critical and something that Acumatica needs to strengthen to grow the install base in the Philippines.

1. There is more information flowing through the company, allowing decentralization while at the same time empowering people to make better and more well-informed decisions.

Acumatica is a very powerful tool when set up well. I recommend having a good, highly-organized and intelligent core team who is familiar with the company's business and are forward thinkers. Make sure you get a solid channel partner as local support, because you will surely need it. Maximize the use and make the system work for your company.
