Robust Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of add-ons that are available that allows you to automate almost every step of the accounting process
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I can think of that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to automate our sales importing process. This step alone has allowed us to focus on our operations more.

What do you like best about the product?
So far the experience of implementating and testing it was smooth. The system shows good consistancy between it screens

Need more time to discover. Didn't fully used it.

Acumatica still in growth stage
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly interface, data integrity, multi department functionality. It is easy to switch from one function to another and follow the steps in the process. I also like the ability to open a new tab and not lose your place in the screen you had open. I like the ability to bring in new partners with the API interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that Acumatica is growing by finding new partners is a terrific growth plan and is beneficial to help Acumatica have the funds and therefore the resources to invest in the product. However, this objective has been at the sacrifice of developing the core product to meet the needs of the cutomers. There are many steps in the processes that are not logical and in many cases restrictive, but Acumatica is slow to address them. I am glad that Acumatica is spending more on internal R&D and hope that these issues will be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest objectives have not been solved yet. We are not using the inventory forecasting, because our original VAR was incompetent and our new VAR is slow and expensive in getting us to where we need to be. Sales History is difficult to bring in due to Acumatica complex requirements, so our VAR has recommended bringing data into a separate SQL table, so not using all internal functionality. THis is just one example
It's a promising software with a bunch of politics that lead customers to failure.
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty flexible and it has a lot of potential, especially the generic inquiry. Not too much positive note at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding a reseller that has a deep understanding of the implementation of Acumatica and hold them accountable. We are over 2 years after golive and we are still having issues to get where we need to be. The politics of the VAR is also one of the worst structure and this will set the customer to being milked with no apprarent results. Frequrent updates that are not backward compatible is also a major issue for Acumatica.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to streamline our operation process and we have solved some of the issues in Sales, Distribution, and Finance, We are currently operational but we are not optimized or automated and it is really hard to get where we need to be.

Acumatica makes it easy for me to get at the data

It did not have the ability to integrate with Portugese Revenue Department and we had to develop something ourselves

Putting the whole business on one platform
Great, but not without growing pains
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of going between entities & easily move between modules. The customizible inquiries are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some system kinks where it switches between entities & it appears that you're in the correct entity, but it will actually be entering things in the wrong or prior entity. Some of the reports exported from the different modules are helpful visually, but not from a data manipulation standpoint. Acumatica needs an intercompany module ASAP!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to keep an eye on other entities, post across entities, & easily find the information you need by function.

Ensure you have strong support that will help through reporting issues/etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Open cloud based platform, compatability, scalability, strong framework and user friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generic Enquiries, Pivot tables and Dashboard capabilities needs to be enhanced in comparison with Microsoft tools. More variety in terms of various tools and objects. Dynamic Analytical Dashboards will be a big help. I guess I am looking at farther future, but a lot of ERP's are providing on demand dynamic graphical visals.

Devicing business driven process using acumatica and connecting all the departments, that were earlier working in silos.

I highly recommend Acumatica to all the businesses

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has given us a platform that we can integrate with other areas of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to keep up with the speed that changes are rolled out. I would also like a "Clear All Filters" button on generic inquires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently began using CRM in Acuamatica. While we still have a lot of work to do developing this, CRM has given us new insight into many areas of our sales organization.
