Super Flexible Product
What do you like best about the product?
The sandbox environment is hands-down my favorite aspect of your system. We're given a solid foundation, but are able to quickly build the system up for our company's specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tools leave a lot to be desired. The Generic Inquiry and Report Writer are a bit rudimentary. I'd like to see more cohesion between them, like an easy export from Generic Inquiries to the report writer. Another issue is exporting images to excel. It'd be great to run catalogs out to excel, manipulate the data, then use that same catalog as an import back into the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-Phased Inventory management has become a lot easier. I've pulled hours of time off of very skilled people by seeing my inventory in time-phased sets. I can project demand and supply with relative ease. Once I export that data out to excel, I can then make projections on our inventory purchasing requirements. This has been one of the greatest benefits to our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hit the AUG forums if you get stuck, it's free and Tim Rodman is super helpful and polite. No question is too small there. Of course, if you need help with your C# coding, visit StackOverflow and use the Acumatica tag on your posts. Lots of free development help there for customizing your platform.

Acumatica System allows us to customized screens base on our unique requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Attribute feature allows us to expand screens without customize DAC.
What do you dislike about the product?
not enough developer support and also no enough samples of integration by using web service APIs

CRM and Accounting. Integrated solution from Acumatica allows us to centralized our core data in one system.

Sales Reps Take on Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's overall format. It's user friendly. We received limited training, but I found it intuitive. Like all software, I'll continue to learn more and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making a custom report, but that may just mean we need training. Not quite as slick as it could have been, however I am sure they will make pivots to improve the software as time goes on. Hopefully they have some good webinars for Salespeople specifically. I would be interested. In fact if there are not webinars I would reccomend that the customer service team look into making these videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at the moment. Still learning, we've only had it a short time.Fairly strong speed. The ability for sales people to extract, isolate, target and focus on specific reports will be highly beneficial.

The app works well for expense reporting. You scan receipts or upload a JPG file and enter a few bits of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the software doesn't accept PDF receipts and the financial reporting is not user friendly.

Expense reporting requires less paperwork.

Suitable ERP solution for small to medium business
What do you like best about the product?
I think Acumatica ERP very well suited for company to small to medium company where the platform provide flexibility to be able to customized for specific requirements who are not available from the out of the box. The license model is unlimited users very much help for our customers as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
What many of our colleagues that dislike the new transaction caps within the license model. Also the the version release between one version to new version that it seem lack of communication especially omitting features that was there before but no longer there o newer version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many aspect that can benefit from Acumatica ERP. From progress reports, tracking KPI withing department, monitoring target on daily basis, etc

I think they should explore what the capability of Acumatica and willing to invest some time to make the system works for your company
Our team has had a very positive experience with Acumatica.
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is a 360 solution for all of our business processes. It has replaced 6 different software solutions that we previously used. It is proving to be very scalable and easy to customize. The dashboards are very useful in managing operations. The app and SAAS platform also make the platform extremely accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring user roles is very challenging and tedious. Would be advantageous to have stock roles out of the box for positions such as AR clerk, AP clerk, etc. Alternatively, better organization of the tree/structure would also simplify the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Acumatica to administer our manufacturing, distribution, delivery, accounting, and project management. Previously our team spent a lot of time inputting data into many systems; whereas, Acumatica has streamlined our processes by operating as a 360 solution. In addition, it gives us significantly better reporting across our manufacturing and distribution operations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend it and believe it will continue to grow and be one of the dominant cloud-based ERP solutions.
Very happy with the Software
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of finding customers and orders and the ability to quickly process multiple orders in 1 batch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing my mind set from our old software

We did not have any problems to solve in regards to the why we switched software, it was a benefits issue from the get go.
The version of Acumatica that we purchased is a cloud based system which allows all of my people to be able to work from home or while away on business (yes we could do it before but we had to log into the office server, this is a lot easier).
The additional benefits we have gained are numerous; Speed in processing our outgoing shipment was vital and with a click of the mouse we can have a batch of 20 or 30 or 100 ordered processed in the time it took us to do 2 with our old system. The search functions are great and not hard to understand and use. Having integrated email has saved us tons of time and allows us all to be able to see what has been sent to a customer when dealing with quotes or question.

I feel comfortable recommending this software as long as the prospective buyer takes the time to have a FEW live demo's and actually gets some hands on time to see if it is a good fit.

Acumatica is very intuitive even for not-so-techie. Its overall integration is seamless. You can start from a big picture (i.e., Balance Sheet or P&L) and easily get to one single transaction at the end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrade. I guess any software nowadays requires periodic upgrades.

With three separate operations in three different states, we need a real time integration, as well as traceability and more. Of course, remote working capability is a must, too.

Converting could not be so easy if you're coming from an old system but it would be worhwhile.
