Streamlining of our work by pulling information from documents we have already created. Very easy to run reports and look up information we need.

Acumatica is a great tool. Take the time to learn about what it can do and then take the time to customize to make your life easier!

Great application with great support

What do you like best about the product?
Has many features we require as well as the ability to create custom upgrades to handle our special requirements.The web based interface is very easy to navigate and allows multiple windows open at a time. Security is tight and ease of credit card processing is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure there is anything I dislike. Being web based it is straight forward to use. By reason of the beast, the security configuration is difficult and extensive. Report writing can be a challenge for all who have no Chrystal Reports type experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the office modules, the warehouse modules, the manufacturing modules. All have been a great benefit to handle all 5 of our locations business and inventory. We have customized many of the reports for our unique needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it.you will not be disappointed. We consider it a great improvement over our previous application and well worth the investment in time and money. Installation was easy with assistance from Acumatica support. New features are being added all the time and I am sure you will find what you need "out of the box". Ours is in-house supported but can be hosted on many cloud platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
We like Acumatica the best because the interface is simple to use and train people on. Also, the add-ons and ability to customize to our needs has made it a great fit for us. You aren't locked in to one product that is the same for all customers. The ability to make the product our own with customizations is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the ability to have customizations does bring some headache though. The upgrade process to the latest version with our customizations makes upgrades difficult (but necessary) to go through. If there was a way to make the upgrade process simpler while maintaining our customizations, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one system that accomplishes all aspects of our business has been the best part. We used to have multiple systems that did not talk to each other, and now everything is visible and transparent in one system.

What do you like best about the product?
The greatest strength of Acumatica is its technical flexibility and its platform-centric design. The customization tools have allowed us to modify the system to suit our business without extensive cost and the data tools (generic inquiries in particular) are very powerful. We have also generally found Acumatica intuitive, easy-to-use and easy to teach. We have also been happy with the continued development of the platform in the 2+ years we've used it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some more advanced pieces of functionality in our area of business, such as replenishment forecasting, that are not particularly strong, although we have general found ways to meet these needs nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for all of our sales, purchasing, order-taking and financial operations (with a standalone WMS for fulfilling orders and receiving stock). The greatest benefit has been in the area of sales and order-taking, where we have used the built-in CRM tools and the flexibility of the data views to improve, hugely, our sales and business development efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Acumatica definitely takes a platform approach to developing their software, which means it will probably never incorporate every feature you could dream of into the core software. We have that it contains an excellent feature set and they add to it consistently, but it's worth reviewing the features closely when considering it.

Great system with continued updates that make it even better each time

What do you like best about the product?
Procurement has never been easier! With each update, it's as if they are listening in when I say "It would be cool if the system did...." because the updates include a lot of those "wishes". The ease of making changes for procurement are awesome and don't require a million steps or complete scratch and start over. Sales quote/order entry is also easy and allows our team to provide all the information necessary for other departments to do their job well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time Card system needs some attention & enhancements. The Service module needs to be easier as well and work more friendly with the main system. Drop Ship is a cool idea, but doesn't currently work with our needs, so it's not used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has never been easier to find our resources in the system. Everyone has quick and easy access to things needed to do our job on a daily basis.
It's also provided the ability to have better and more firm procedure processes and tracking of the processes, which is great for internal accountability and daily task tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
Accessible, good dashboard, detail orientated, good to review reports. Acumatica person frequently visits Myanmar and understand the customer need and market situation. Advance Financial module and Advance distribution module is easy to understand for data entry staff and report views. Even if a staff resign, i have the format and system in place for new staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Vendor. I had trouble with the vendor. My ERP implementation was delay for more than 8 months from schedule. 2) Not being able to directly work with Acumatica. As i have 2 vendors for my 2 company, i prefer to contract my license directly with acumatica. However, it is limited that my company need to be under a vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am always traveling and out of the office. Acumatica gives me accessibility to my company system anywhere I go. I can make a financial decision easier than before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the software. If you want this system, you have to use from top and other people in your company will follow you.

Great choice for a solid, Mid-Tier accounting system

What do you like best about the product?
Industry specific for construction with familiar terms & concepts. Solid interfacing options overall using web hooks and the screen api. Screens are consistent and overall easy to use. Easy to use with multiple companies with the same user base. Improvement over systems like Timberline, Quickbooks, and the smaller Microsoft products (Dynamics, Great Plains (GP). Much easier to use than larger systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Technical documentation is sufficient for interfacing custom systems or third-party API's.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smaller ecosystem to find help if implementation team is not providing clear answers compared to larger ERP/Accounting systems. Would be very difficult to hire additional consultants if needed. Very weak payroll overall compared to larger platforms. The provided REST API (oData), while promising, needs more maturity and wrappers to be truly effective and enterprise quality. Would like to see a better experience around general inquiries overall. I have not yet seen any solid reporting solutions or data modeling/warehouse out of the box and would like to see more growth there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Development/Consultant to help integrate/implement use as accounting system for construction organization while integrating with complex front-end system (Mach1 - not listed in list below). The following modules/features are used: Project cost tracking, HRM management, Payable and Receivables, General Ledger, Purchase Orders, General inquiry and reporting, Invoicing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If considering upgrading from Timberline or Quickbooks, this is a great choice. If you have custom systems in the Microsoft stack (.NET), interfacing will be fairly straightforward.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great reporting functionality, Dashboards are great and very and I love how you can integrate PowerBi onto the Dashboards. It is great for exception reporting as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kitting items not the best functionality

Information in one centralized location.

This is a great tool and easy to customize to your company's needs. The AccuSupport team is very helpful and responsive.
