Best Decision Ever Made
What do you like best about the product?
We bet our future on Acumatica in 2010 by dedicating our practice on Acumatica which, right from the start, was providing a flexible cloud-based ERP software along with a unique business model offering unlimited number of users as well as the choice of deployment method. The flexible and evolutive platform based on the most recent standards and the speed at which new features are provided are awesome and allow us to quickly provide solutions to our customer regarding their business challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some workflows need better integration with existing features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined and integrated overall company's processes. Managing Acumatica implementation projects via Acumatica and the integration to Smartsheet. Acumatica provided us a competitive advantage via the tools that we developed with Acumatica via the Acumatica framework to manage the ERP implementation and support (dashboards, customer portal, implementation toolbox, etc.). That enhanced the customer experience from the siPD distinctive selling process based on the Acumatica unique business model to the customer service and support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Selecting a partner that you are compatible with to implement Acumatica is crucial in the success of your ERP project. The partner should have experience and be dedicated to your Acumatica project.

Acumatica 3 Months After Go Live
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is a solid product. Enterprise availability of data in a package that small business can afford.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is not intuitive (stilted and awkward (has a 90's database feel), . Inter-linking with Payroll is terrible. 3rd party unresponsive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Company wide visibility of data. One platform.
Acumatica being in the cloud is the right ERP platform for us.
What do you like best about the product?
Aside from Acumatica being cloud-based, we like how we can customize the dashboard of each of our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the tabs are being organized, I feel that it can be made simpler an intuitive. I know that the search bar is powerful but quite hard to go around unless again you build your dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem being solved by Acumatica for us is that everyone is on the same page with each and every transaction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it would be better if Acumatica can better organize the forms and selections. Better also if there are templates of dashboards we can choose from.
Quite refreshing after 30 years on old software
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Acumatica is natively web-based. The flow of data entry makes sense. I've never been afraid that I would break anything which has enabled me to explore and experiment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the customer refund process clunky. It is difficult to recreate "moments in time" on the fly. That drives our accountant nuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see more data in real time and make decisions based on that information. Each user has more autonomy which has led to quicker response times to our customers and our co-workers.

Ease of use, web-based, most reports and inquiries can be downloaded into Excel

Lack of good reporting tool, complex nature of imports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has allowed us to be almost paperless! The flow works well for us, and the screens are fairly easy to understand.

Acumatica is a modern solution. Be sure to consider all the assistance it provides in going paperless.

What do you like best about the product?
The systems have alot of solid features & 3rd party plug ins to maximize the experience.

If a new report or some feature needs to be changed its a complicated and time draining experience to change. Acumatica Report Designer needs a big upgrade to make that more seamless.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use by all employees, internet based allowing for easy access, easy downloads and reporting, flexible functionality. It's easy to incorporate into the business. I am also a major fan of it's affordability.

The only downside, if it can even be considered a downside, is that very few people are familiar with it.

We have multiple companies, using multiple systems, all reporting through one organization. We are currently looking at consolidation software programs that can have drill down capabilities with JD Edwards, Acumatica and others.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick Implementation, Ease of use, Integration and ability scale with demand. Extend the application with customization and packages with extreme ease. Acumatica partners can work any problem in the Acumatica platform and address any business need. Selecting an ERP and investing in a long term solution helps to build confidence with your employee that learning this platform and learning how to leverage the features to improve business process is a worth their time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The full context search is very helpful but would like to see more visual help content as in short video on a process or procedure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running my everyday business with project accounting, active forecasts and Customer management. Integration with PSA is key for me to understand cost, resources and margin.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the platform and see the impact moving all your Business Software needs into one Platform and then feed your ERP with more data about the business and make it work for you.

I love the ability to create Generic Inquiry reports, download data to Excel for analysis, and the ability to upload data. The ability to
access data and work from anywhere is fabulous.

I actually don't dislike anything about the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and inventory purchase forecasting, budgeting, shipping, etc. Every aspect of operations has been improved and costs dramatically reduced.

Take a look at it, very flexible and has many integrations available for many businesses.

Acumatica easy to you and with the easy to build reports and dashboards available 24/7 on any mobile device we are able to see pertinent data real time allowing us to run our business actively each day!
What do you dislike about the product?
Acumatica does not have forecasting capabilities. Would love to see an integrated solution in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now completely paperless. Workflow is efficient. We now have project by project P&L information providing timely insight into project profitability. We have all employees in the system seeing what they need to see to do their jobs daily which has empowered them all to become more active and accountable in their roles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a small to mid-size company you should seriously consider Acumatica. Its ease of use makes it easy to get your teams up and running. Its flexibility and open API's make it easy to integrate with any third party solutions you need to continue using. Its deep functionality make it an excellent choice for almost any type of business.
